Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Man, straight iso, not even an attempt at a screen and roll.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 A line-up with Ross, Vas, and Chuck. What can go wrong?
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 This team makes every opponent look like the Steve Nash lead Suns in the open court. Zero transition d. But that happens when you have 4 guards who complain about a foul every trip down
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 It's as if putting your worst defensive unit in the most critical part of the game is a bad idea.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 How does Devin Harris blow by Lou that easily
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Where in the f*** are James Johnson and Valanciunas???
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I'll say right now that I don't agree with Hayes being out there over JV, but Chuck has been quite impactful on defense.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Both Ross AND Vasquez over JJ? OKAY CASEY
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Just wait until DD comes back in and starts his Kobe shots.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Both Ross AND Vasquez over JJ? OKAY CASEY f***ing ridiculous.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Ross/Vas/Hayes in crunch time, the result is predictable.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 A s***** 1-3 road trip with two games with big blown leads!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Lead up to 12. Greivis Vasquez still out there. Awful.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Why does this org like Grevais Vasquez so much???
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Derrick Rose with a meniscus tear, dude's never going to be healthy.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Derrick Rose died again. My God, so unlucky.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Rose is done. Same thing happened to Brandon Roy.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Derrick Rose with a meniscus tear, dude's never going to be healthy. Holy f***

Nafro Verified Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Rose is done. Same thing happened to Brandon Roy. Yes unfortunately its looking like he is more likely to mirror Brandon Roy's career instead of what his potential was.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Best part is that with Lowry struggling to shoot the ball, James Johnson is arguably our best player right now. Yet he didnt come back in until under 3 minutes left
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 We're not as good as we think we are but we're also not as bad as we think we are. This was a tough stretch and losses were expected. They didn't get embarrassed by any means. Definitely not panicking.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 The fact that they're 37-20 with Demar Derozan considered as your star player and Kyle Lowry playing like Raymend Felton in 2015 is pretty good all in all, unfortunately this team doesn't have much of a ceiling. I honestly would rather be the sixers.

Lots of cap space and creative/intelligent GM with multiple first round picks to work with, it's not a bad spot to be in.

It's just hard to see how this team will ever find it's superstar to compete for championships. They're going to be picking in the 20s for the foreseeable future so we're not going to draft one and Toronto is not a location that is going to attract big time free agents. I guess Masai is banking on another harden situation to arise so we can swoop in or catch lighting in a bottle like Atlanta.
