jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Lowry has been playing like crap the past few weeks and he suddenly vaults up the leaderboard lol. I'll never understand the voting
GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I love that they're playing the Jordan Gatorade commercial again. Any of you ever heard the story behind that?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I love that they're playing the Jordan Gatorade commercial again. Any of you ever heard the story behind that? Sick commercial. So much better than f***ing 5 hour energy that they play every break on Sportsnet, smh.

I can't find the story, but Jordan's game with his body double got so intense and so filled with trash talking that the poor guy locked himself in his car crying.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 It's a look-alike? Yup. No special effects in there (I don't think, they might have edited the face, but the body is a double).

I'll never understand the voting Fans vote on the entire season so far, not just the past two weeks. Not to mention people around the country voted for him.

That's all on Casey though because overall Lou has been FANTASTIC here as a combo guard off the bench. Doesnt turn over the ball, gets to the line and can create his own shot. Not missing John Salmons at all

But overall I would say Lou contributes more to winning, obviously.

Less iso/step back 3 pointers and more ball movement/penetration plz. He's way too trigger happy.

Don't know anythign about him but nice to see Masai looking abroad to improve the team.

We have a much better defender in James Johnson, our coach is just to biased to play him. I didn't really understand what John Salmons did that Fields couldnt, except chuck a lot more

Less iso/step back 3 pointers and more ball movement/penetration plz. He's way too trigger happy. You want a scoring guard off the bench to be trigger happy though. He's scoring 15 points with just 11 shots, that's pretty lethal. Vasquez is just a awful backcourt partner for him to be paired with. Last deadline the Wiz were able to get Andre Miller, hopefully there's a similar type guard available this Feb

I didn't really understand what John Salmons did that Fields couldnt, except chuck a lot more Well I was comparing Salmons to Lou. Johnson is a better player than both though. For a team that likes to go small I'd like to see JJ at the 4 more. Honestly don't know why we don't see it more often.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 First 6 offensive possesions Turnover, bailout shot with 1 sec left, turnover, long 2, turnover, long 2
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 A team that actually had deep post season aspirations is starting Grevis Vasquez with a healthy roster lol.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 lol comes out of a TO and get a shot blocked then give up a transition 3. This against one of the worst teams in NBA history.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 At least he was taking it to the rim instead of taking an 18 foot jumper
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Awful. the Raps feet are stapled to the floor.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Derozan should be traded. He just isn't that good of a player and his "strength" of the mid range game is exactly what the NBA is going away from.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Gj casey, actually made a f***ing move to get Vasquez and johnson out when they showed to be useless in the first few minutes
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Derozan looks scared of everything inside 18 feet. Isnt driving with any confidence at all.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Trade Lowry, trade DD, fire Casey, tank for a draft pick.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Down by 14 to the 76ers. That's not something legitimate, NBA players should ever let happen, much less this f***ing team.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Christ. Wide open in the corner and Derozan has his foot on the line and shoots a long 2. Stupid awareness like this just lost you a point.
