John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I only saw a few minutes of the game... Was it a good effort but just came up short or just Dallas clearly being the better Team?

Was it a good effort but just came up short or just Dallas clearly being the better Team? A bit of both. Lowry got into early foul trouble and Demar was abysmal. Our perimeter defense was shaky and it didn't help that the Mavs would not miss from 3. Monta Ellis also went off.

Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Can`t win em all. Great fight back against a great team. Demar was terrible. I doubt he`s even hurt. I think he just wanted an easy out. Should bite your tongue on that one, Wouldn't be nice if he's out for a long period of time.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Masai Ujiri is apparently running the Blue Jays now...
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 As expected, Demar's MRI is negative and he flew to LA with the team. He was looking for an out last night. If he had started the game 5-8 instead of 0-8 he would've popped back up 100%. DeKobe needs to check his f***ing ego and get back to getting his teammates involved.
LeafsJays Verified Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Is anyone interested to hear some insider info on the new raptors jerseys? I wont say too much, but black and gold is definitely included as a jersey. And the new font is already on the court if you havnt noticed. There will also be a map of T.O on the neckline of the back of the jersey. That is all I will say for now!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Marc Stein Raptors just announced DeMar DeRozan is out indefinitely with a torn tendon in his left ankle in another dose of deflating NBA injury news

Tore his groin and is out indefinitely. Sounds like at least 4-6 weeks. Never question a player's toughness when you don't know what happened. Also..even though Demar hasn't shot particularly well he is still a good player and the team will miss him. Demar opens up the offence for other players on the floor. Fields seems like he will get some playing time and expect more min for Lou and JJ.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 DeMar has been healthy pretty much his entire career and outworks his opponents almost every night ( despite some ignorant people labeling him soft because he doesn't recklessly charge into the paint every time he touches the ball). It should have been pretty obvious that it was serious for him to go down like that. Lou and James Johnson are both players capable of providing 25+ minutes of solid play. As long as he's healthy come playoff team this team will be fine. This conference overall is stil clearly a joke

Wow, tell us how you "REALLY" feel??? He looked in a fair amount of pain there, mate?!
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Is ECJF a racist? All these lazy brothas....
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Marc Stein Raptors just announced DeMar DeRozan is out indefinitely with a torn tendon in his left ankle in another dose of deflating NBA injury news Will be interesting to see what happens to their offense. Obv DD drew a bunch of double teams and such, but he's also the most inefficient scorer in the starting line-up.

Sucks that he's out, but I'm guessing this will also mean more plays for Jonas and Lou, which isn't a terrible thing.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Im not picking up for ECJF but SportsNet had a story on their website that said he was travelling with the team and that he was doubtful for Sundays game against the Lakers. Now they are reporting the real bad news. This is Horrible news. I guess we should have known everything was going to smoothly.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 In better news: Ryan Wolstat @WolstatSun In non-DeRozan news, Casey praised Valanciunas for making better reads passing out of post and for far better PNR D vs. Dallas. Development!

Obv DD drew a bunch of double teams and such, but he's also the most inefficient scorer in the starting line. It will be really interesting to see for sure. DD definetely helped open the floor for Lowry and Ross to shoot 3s. While he was inefficient he was starting to take better shots the last few games. Lou Williams figures to get a decent bump in minutes. Vasquez has been pretty good the last 2 games so hopefully he has turned the corner. As bad as the injury is the 2 guard has the most depth on the team. An injury to Lowry, Val or Amir would of been much worse. Really sucks for Demar considering the next game would of been in LA in front of friends and family as well. Gotta feel for him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 An abunductor tear...fugly. DD's gone for most of the season, book it.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 I'm curious and worried how the raptors are going to respond....DD is a threat double teamed and constantly causing fouls.
letsgobjs Verified Member Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 I read that Danny Amendola had the same kind of tear and he was only out 3 weeks
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 My guess is 4-6 weeks. You want to make sure it is 100% before coming back. Don't need it acting up later in the season.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Raps giving way too much respect to Kobe. Why double him? let him shoot contested jumpshots....
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Kobe shotjacking like there's no tomorrow.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Kobe shotjacking like there's no tomorrow. Hes been pretty good actually passing it so far..
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Kobe being anti-Kobe..Raps defence the last 5 min has been bad.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Raps could use Derozan. Offence has been weak so far. Derozan is so good at getting to the line and thats what they need right now.
labadee Verified Member Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 i can't see the game, is it cringe-worthy bad? or are the raps still in it
