I was laughing uncontrollably when Silver said his name and had never heard of him and all the lead up to the pick. He didn't even appear on a few mock drafts, but I don't really mind that.

Weird pick, but I like him and I trust Masai.

The other two picks weren't good though

A little annoyed that he didnt turn Salmons into a pick or something. But whatever.

What is this? This is unfortunate for you.

Guys, the only reason he wasn't on mocks is cause no one bothered going out to see him haha.

I'm really happy that we got him, but I wish he would've been available at 37. That obviously wasn't a possibility though. Apparently there were at least a few other teams in on him. So if he really is Ujiri's guy, then I admire the guts necessary to make that pick. That's a huge quality to have in a GM. Making the best move regardless of public perception. I love his length. He's a tremendous defensive presence, he's gonna f*** s*** up. Interfering with shots, denying his man the ball, insane length, good athleticism. I love his jump shot form and he can really shoot the damn ball. He has a very fluid offensive game for someone so raw and young. I don't buy the two years away from being two years away ********. Apparently, he's coming over next year. They had a hush hush deal to pay for his buyout. He'll be at summer camp and he'll be training with Demar next week (that's from Ujiri's mouth). E: He's a hockey fan too lol: http://www.tsn.ca/bardown/Story.aspx?Is%2bBruno%2bCaboclo%2ba%2bhockey%2bfan%253f&id=455833

Don't like Daniels as much as some of the talent taken after him, but in general, ignoring the other guys, he's a solid talent on his own. Hopefully Casey will provide him the right environment to become more consistent (#FJMthings). He's a huge shot altering presence, which I love, but he's gonna have to fill out while not losing much speed, which could be difficult. I don't like his first step. And he's pretty horrendous defensively, can't keep his man in front of him. But Casey can help with that. He's weird in that he's an old prospect (22) but he's still pretty projectable, as opposed to a guy like Early.

Thames, I didn't know much about. My friend really likes him, so I guess I'm disappointed cause of that, but I admittedly don't know much about him. Although from the few highlights I've seen I feel like he could have replaced Buycks adequately, and I think that would have saved a touch of cap room but I'm not sure.

I feel like Ennis being taken by the Suns f***ed the entire night. Had he not been, maybe we go Bruno at 20, OKC takes McGary or someone, and then we grab Ennis at 22, trading 37 in the process. That would have been nice. But I think Ujiri made the most of the situation with 20, and while I'm not sunshines and rainbows happy with Daniels considering who else was available, in isolation, I think it was a good pick and that Daniels is a good fit with the team.

Also, Thames was traded for cash considerations I think lol

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the 4 spot. They probably re-sign PP to a reasonable 3 year deal and let Amir walk next year (would still love to have him back at a lower price though and I think he'd give us a hometown discount).

I'd love to keep Amir around. If he isn't gonna stick around then we should trade him for quality, tangible assets rather than just cap relief or something, but yeah, I'd love to keep him around. Amazing guy, loves Toronto, makes a huge impact on the court.

Bucher is such a moron, Broussard 2.0. All of the heat reporters have shot that rumor down already + it makes absolutely no sense for us.

Lots of good info in here.

Ya I read earlier that he loves the game and is always in the gym. I am becoming optimistic about the pick but realistically we won't see him until 2016-17 at the earliest

...

Masai literally said the dude is in the summer league and there was a hush hush deal to get him out of his contract, lol.

He said he will be with the team to make sure he gets proper physical development on Tim and Sid (Putting on weight). He also agreed with the comment about 2 years from 2 years away but in the end he believes we will all be happy with this decision.

If Lowry leaves for the Heat after the season we just had.. wow. No words. Actually, pathetic works pretty well.

Yea we didn't draft a PG, and Vasquez still isn't where he needs to be to be a number 1.. Haven't seen anything on twitter or elsewhere, so hopefully a load of s***

I don't f***ing want Norris Cole.

This s*** is unbelievable. If Lowry leaves us for the Heat then we'll know everything he said about Toronto is a load of horseshit.

I really want to keep Lowry, but losing him wouldn't be awful if we got a good return in a sign and trade. But him going to the Heat would be terrible.

Even to Houston, they'd have some assets. That'd be nice. The Lakers not so much.

If Lowry is 100% leaving though, absolutely, no doubt, then I guess Bosh wouldn't be a bad add. Houston's assets are ideal though.

Lowry's quotes seem like the author is using them out of context or simply to mean what he wants them to mean.

“I'm happy with making the playoffs and doing that, but the end game for all players should be a championship and that's what I want to play for," Lowry told Basketball Insiders this week. "I want to play for a championship.”

This in no way takes the Raptors out of the equation, nor does it suggest that he wants to go to Miami ASAP. Seems like shady reporting...I still don't trust this guy but I am afraid the rumors might have some merit.

Lol.

People need to calm down.

Bucher is a joke and has never reported anything. Also has a reputation of blatantly making things up.

The rumor is not real, stop giving it life!

I wonder if the Kings would S/T Isaiah Thomas (if that's possible, I saw it mentioned somewhere). Rudy and Kyle reunited.

Can't believe Lowry would leave like that. I won't believe it until it happens.

Who are you thinking realistically. I would love to get someone like Chandler Parsons, and I'm sure PG-wise you were probably thinking Patrick Beverley? If the former happens I assume Ross is moved, I just really like Parsons, he's more than just a 3 point shooter (which isn't even a bad thing to begin with).

That's my assumption right now.

f***er can always use the "deal fell apart" excuse because it can't legally be consummated until July 1.

So ridiculous the way it was used. Of course he wants a f***ing championship, who doesnt?

Toronto can offer the most money, Lowry has many years left in the league to win a championship but realistically this is his only chance for a massive deal.

I highly doubt he is ring chasing at this point in his career.

PG wise, Beverley would be enough for us to use him, grab a prospect at some point and focus on other areas.

Think they'd deal Parsons in an S/T? He's gonna be expensive but he's a wonderful fit.

???/Beverly

Demar

Parsons

Bosh

Val

Amir

That's a very formidable lineup.
