This would be an fantastic deal. Such a deep draft...

Re-sign Lowry for four years.

Draft Ennis or another PG (Won't need to pay Vasquez 4-5M even though I like him a lot)

Re-sign Patterson for a decent amount

Lots of cap space opening up in the upcoming years to make a play for a FA.

Love this.

Vasquez loves TO, so much though.

Well nobody predicted Bennett would go #1 so you never really know. I could see something ridiculous like drafting Exum even though they're already covered at the guard spot. They're one of the most incompetent franchises in the history of professional sports.

If I were Cleveland, I would be working very hard to get a big asset to move to 4. Embiid or Exum would be ok if you got a big asset coming back.

NBA TV mock draft is so s***. Jesus.

Capela, Ennis, Dinwiddie, Adams are my top 4 right now. Assuming there's no trade up.

Im still pulling for Rodney Hood or Payne. Both have the size and shooting ability our team needs.

Though Ennis could fit in our team nicely as a 3rd string PG. Ease him into the league and trade Vasquez next year if he looks legit

Rodney Hood is an abomination of a defender and I want no part of him. Payne is okay but Capela >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Payne.

Boxscoregeeks and Deanondraft are all very low on Wiggins. Neither thinks he's even a lottery pick.

Weighting scouts vs stats will always be a battle.

Boxscoregeeks are run by the guys at wages of wins right? They're the bleacherreport of basketball advanced stats.

Think so. I've been looking for a good basketball advanced stat blog so that I can start getting into it. Do you know of any?

Even so, I'll probably keep reading them. It's good to read stuff you don't agree with. Challenges you. But I'd like to find more advanced stat blogs.

I suggest reading "Basketball on Paper" by Dean Oliver. The author is pretty much the Bill James of basketball and also mentored Masai Ujiri.

Sounds good. Would you recommend The Art of a Beautiful Game: The Thinking Fan's Tour of the NBA by Chris Ballard too? Saw that and it seemed good.

Never read it. Don't think it's about advanced stats though if that's what you're looking for.
