JaysWS2013 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yes I want to Rant about how bad of a play by play broadcaster he is. When using mlb.tv, I will use the audio overlay and listen to the fans broadcast. The guy makes so many mistakes per game. And has so little excitement when makin calls. Rogers wants to boost revenue, so at least make it exciting to watch and hear!
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I don't think he's great but I don't think he's awful either.
JaysWS2013 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 please stop making threads What gives anyone else the right to make threads and not me?
JaysWS2013 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 And this thread is not stupid
JaysWS2013 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 You're only making these threads to try and prove that point... So I think I speak for everybody when I say f*** OFF Your a really bad person and have no consideration for others. Explain to me what is wrong with this post!
flafson Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I actually like him even though he does make mistakes. I sometimes watch other games like the Dodgers last night and you can fall asleep from their commentator. The guy speaks so slow like it's a golf game.

Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Buck is awesome, his drunken mistakes adds a level of comedy to the games. Lighten up bras.

Also it's a shame Matt Devlin doesn't come back, he was pretty good in his stint.

JugglingPitches Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 We went from Rob Faulds to Jamie Campbell to Buck Martinez. Don't complain.
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 And this thread is not stupid That's not really for you to decide lol
JaysWS2013 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 That's not really for you to decide lol Wow that's a pretty stupid comment by you. Lol
flafson Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Only "complain" about Buck that he sometimes calls HIGH LEFT FIELD.... out. Gets me all pumped up off my sofa thinking we hit a homerun and then bust.
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Wow that's a pretty stupid comment by you. Lol You're in no position to decide if your own thread is good or not, think about it...
flafson Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Oh my...........you just dissed the best broadcaster in baseball ever!! My point is, he's boring, Buck isn't.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I actually loved having Matt Devlin. Jim Hughson or GTFO.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Jim Hughson or GTFO. Alan Ashby was nice.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I actually loved having Matt Devlin. Delvin was decent I thought.
Jeffrey_Paul Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 How about Rance Mulliniks? or Pat Tabler? Jays need a better colour guy than they need an announcer

backontop Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Googie doogie, any fool can critize, condemn and complain, but it makes for bad commentary. Buck is at his best when he calls a Blue Jay Home Run! Otherwise I'd prefer to hear a real broadcaster. About three weeks ago some humble broadcaster did three games, I thought he was great but I never got his name, the same thing a year ago, does anyone know who he was?
Flashman Verified Member Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Buck may be a great colour commentator, but he's very poor at play-by-play. Pronunciation of names and garbled calls aside, he leaves too much dead air with long silences.
