G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Thames for Delabar was so boss
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Reyes leadoff walk... Davis and Izturis showed up ready to play.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 amazing how good he still is considering his age And that he had his arm shattered and took 2 years off from baseball!
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Sox go opposite..............Jays hitters have not done that all night,
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 wasting another good arm.. wth They need work (Starter complete game yesterday) and Wang couldn't get out of the second inning
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Thames for Delabar was so boss Yep, on principle I hated it (position player for reliever, yuck!) but in practice it's been awesome... Also, Delebar's biggest contribution might be his weighted balls...
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yep, on principle I hated it (position player for reliever, yuck!) but in practice it's been awesome... Also, Delebar's biggest contribution might be his weighted balls... I liked Thames for Delabar at the time, I loathed Snider for Lincoln. I still dislike it just because I still love Snider.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I liked Thames for Delabar at the time, I loathed Snider for Lincoln. I still dislike it just because I still love Snider. Ditto
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Bautista doesn't drop the fly ball it is a 1 run game.
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 The Jays have two hits the other way tonight and have scored 4 f***ing runs? One of Reyes or EE's had hit balls drop in this is a one run game, give it a rest FFS's!! yup, a Baustista catch and if Reye's hit falls in Jays are leading
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yep, on principle I hated it (position player for reliever, yuck!) but in practice it's been awesome... Eric Thames isn't even playing in the majors anymore
leaffie Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Dirk Hayhurst just owned Gregg Zaun. LOL. Probably in response to zaun who said the Jays always start to lose when Hayhurst shows up. And he was right about that
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 We all knew Wang wasn't the answer to the problem long term so there were bound to be games like this
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 That bautista catch looms large.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I liked Thames for Delabar at the time, I loathed Snider for Lincoln. I still dislike it just because I still love Snider. I disliked more, but I disliked the Snider one more, and I also still love Snider... Snider and Lind were my two favourite players, and most other fans shat on them often... I'm almost redeemed for my Lind love though
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Bautista's "error" could have cost us this game. That wasn't an error man, the official scorer said it was a double!
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 This place has become a s*** show any time the Jays are losing I agree...
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 The Jays have two hits the other way tonight and have scored 4 f***ing runs? One of Reyes or EE's hard hit balls drop in this is a one run game, give it a rest FFS's!! They do not go with the ball consistently when need and continually roll over outside pitches... Sorry if you don't agree.
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 At this point I'm just happy they kept going hard and didn't totally give up.
8D Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I think he was talking about Uehara but I'm with you on the Delabar thing, that's a lot more impressive than an aging reliever playing well Yeah I was talking about Uehara. Confused me for a bit as well Delabar is another story. Jays also got a lot more in return with that deal now hiring weighted balls guy. Turned Janssen into an elite closer and Cecil into an absolute BEAST.
8D Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Thames for Delabar was so boss Say what you will about AA, but I trust him now building pens on the cheap. Don't wanna hear about Lincoln-snider...
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I wonder how far you can throw a JP Bobblehead
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 ugh, too bad this game could have been a lot different had bautista caught that ball. Need to win tomorrow cannot fall further behind.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 it's gotten so bad that I think Melky is using the handicap toilet and gets a parking spot.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I wonder how far you can throw a JP Bobblehead Haha! How about how hard you can throw it against a brick wall?
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 For some reason, ever since Johnson came back from his injury, I've had confidence in him performing well. I feel like he'll pitch well again tomorrow. Could be showcasing for his next team..ya never know. I expect a good game from him
