dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 glad the side show is leaving town, he won't be missed in a week. Time to focus on ball and not all the other s***
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Holy s*** man relax. Why do you even let someone get you this worked up? Sad thing is he thinks kawasaki is an above average short shop
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 No s*** he's a below-average talent. So are DeRosa, Bonifacio, and Izturis. Kawasaki may be the best player of the three though. They never had options..........and no izturiz, boni will be better once their career norms get reached.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Reyes is back. No big deal Same idiot gm unfortunately.
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Besides, he would've been optioned anyway--Lawrie's due back within a week or two. Lawrie f***ing sucks..So ya
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Other guys never had options, do half of you even know baseball rules?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Kawasaki 0,8 WAR (60 games) Bonifacio -0,7 WAR (66 games) Izturis -1,0 WAR (62)
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I will miss him taking 3 running steps to make a throw however, that was fun to watch
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 Are you gonna go cut yourself now with your high school protractor? lmao @ protractor Based on small sample....ask anyone, any scout, he was not good in the field either. Izturis, boni will be better in the long run as there career norms show. lmao, Bonifacio's career norms ain't better than this
bzapple Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I'm disappointed by this but watching GordieDougie blow up ITT is quickly cheering me up
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Shut the f*** up bomber. Go to the gym What?
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Likely he'll be getting reps at 2B in Buffalo to be prepared for a role as a utility player if/when he is called back up again. No way the Jays can risk losing games with him learning in the majors with Boni improving defensively at 2B(too bad his bat isn't there) and Izturis/DeRosa able to play 2B as well.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 Holy s*** man relax. Why do you even let someone get you this worked up? Because I get fiesty when I'm sick lol
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Kawasaki shouldnt feel bad, he will still get his ring, he played a big part in our world series win lmao
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 I'm disappointed by this but watching GordieDougie blow up ITT is quickly cheering me up Hey it's what I'm here for, I'm a people pleaser
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 maybe AA is just racist once he found out he announced he was Japanese
Parson Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 f*** this. I'm so pissed at AA right now. f*** AA. I'm cheering for the jays to lose now. I hope attendance tanks. I was going to go to some games with friends. Not anymore. ear it up in Buffalo Kawasaki. Go Bisons!
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Guys on the 40 man who aren't on the 25 man currently: 64 Chad Jenkins 49 Brad Lincoln 35 Sean Nolin 58 Todd Redmond 31 Michael Schwimer 37 Mickey Storey 51 Thad Weber 6 A.J. Jimenez 2 Ryan Goins Mauro Gomez 13 Brett Lawrie 8 Anthony Gose 14 Moises Sierra One of these guys will probably be gone (or Morrow or Happ could be transferred to the 60 day DL.) Please keep your "DFA Lawrie" comments to a minimum.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 lol Exactly my thoughts....hahaha!
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Boni's career norm is replacement-level hack. As for Izturis, he's 33. Expecting career mean performance is pretty stupid. Kawasaki is 31, and never been anything more then a bench player.............and had options the other guys didn't. obvious call to make.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Yes it is moron....Its baseball not a personality, comedy contest. Kawa is a fringe player who had options. it should have been Bumfiasco because he has the least baseball skill and I dont care about options. lol AA said too much about how good he thought bumfiasco was, now we are stuck with him because AA would rather lose instead of admitting that he and the entire scouting team s*** the bed.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I think of Loup as one of the core four members of the pen (w/ Janssen, Delabar, Cecil), so wouldn't consider that. Loup has a career 2.26 ERA (2.76 FIP), too important to send down. Had Perez looked shaky recently I would have DFA'd him, but he keeps pitching well. Kawasaki could be back very soon, I'm sure AA is still trying to work something else out. With the 8 man pen, a lot of guys just aren't getting any work, so Loup would have made sense to send down (for the time being.) 4 lefties is kinda crazy.

You send him down for like a week, you've already burned an option on the guy this year, you don't waste an asset, you move one out after you find a trade. I would DFA Perez, but you were talking about asset management, and likely giving a guy away isn't too smart in terms of that so I didn't say anything. I'm not sure, though, I really wish I had confidence in him but ranting aside, I just plain don't.

Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 He probably gets called up once Boni or Izturis get DFA. I can't see both of those guys sticking with this team for too much longer unless they actually start performing. Those two have been absolute s***.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Kawasaki is 31, and never been anything more then a bench player.............and had options the other guys didn't. obvious call to make. "Never been anything more than a bench player." except, .you know, how this is his second year in the MLB, and in Japan he was an allstar 8 years in a row...
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I just can't believe I have to continue seeing Bonifacio on this team. WHAT THE f*** THE GUY CONTRIBUTES NOTHING... SO WHAT IF HE RUNS FAST USAIN BOLT IS BETTER AT BASEBALL THAN THIS LOAD OF s***
