Yeah he has shown some positive signs, but has still been pretty crap overall. Boni I don't even know how he is still here. Now that this team is at .500 and has a chance to play some meaningful games its time to cut bait with the dead weight. We have better options internally and its a crying shame AA is a pussy to make the right call.

DeRosa is an RH bat with some power, that's a useful bench piece. It wasn't ever going to be between Kawasaki and DeRosa.

DeRosa's actually been good, gotta give him credit. There aren't many guys who put up better AB's than DeRosa, especially against lhp's...funny thing is, Kawasaki arguably had the best AB's against rhp's...lol. I used to think it was good to have options...not anymore.

Yeah, Japan just y'know, won the WBC twice, they're pretty bad over there... And Kawasaki won the "best 9" twice (award to the best player at each position in the league...) meaning he was literally the best shortstop in all of Japan at one point.

Kawasaki is a better player than Boni and Izturis. brings more to the offense than half the team. there are lots of guys that need to go, but AA would need to make a trade. I hope they put Kawasaki at second in AAA and get see if he can excel there. they could trade Boni for bat.... or a ball. then bring saki back up.
