Knights4Cup Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Lots of reactionary posts But, Kawasaki is a better player right now than Bonifacio, maybe Izturis at times Does Boni have options left
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 1-4 Reyes in Buffalo tonight. That's not good enough to replace Kawi You seem to be really stupid.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 I'm 4-1 in GDTs this year. Working the magic.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I'm 4-1 in GDTs this year. Working the magic. 1 loss. Unacceptable.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 It could actually be a downgrade at least until Reyes gets some games in when he replaces Kawii Doubt it. Not taking anything away from Kawasaki however Reyes offence makes the Jays so much better and Kawasaki defence is not better than Reyes even though he has made quite a positive impact with both his teammates and the fans.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 Unfortunately not. No, unfortunately great minds haha
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 1 loss. Unacceptable. Compared to Fatcow's 35 losses I think it's okay
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 We all know deep down Boni is the better player, as much as it stings us to say that.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 We all know deep down Boni is the better player, as much as it stings us to say that. Different skill sets... Right now, Kawasaki works ABs better than anyone else on this team, which is a decent skill to have (makes the pitcher throw a LOT of pitches...)
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 We all know deep down Boni is the better player, as much as it stings us to say that. I vehemently disagree. He can run and do nothing else, compared to Kawi who may just be a legitimate bench piece.
DH12 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 You seem to be really stupid. And you think Reyes will outplay Kawasaki as soon as he gets called up. I doubt that
jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I'm still loving the replay of Buerhle pushing Kawasaki out of the dugout for the curtain call. What a game.

DH12 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I also believe Reyes is overrated and Kawa underrated
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 And you think Reyes will outplay Kawasaki as soon as he gets called up. I doubt that You just cited Reyes going 1-4 in Buffalo as him being "not good enough" to replace Kawasaki. I mean really dude? That's weak.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 And you think Reyes will outplay Kawasaki as soon as he gets called up. I doubt that You might be the biggest buzz kill on this board. Perhaps on the entire internet.

kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 With how loud the crowd was the last couple innings, especially during Kawasaki's at bat in the ninth, I thought there were a lot more than the 35K actually at the game.
bzapple Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I also believe Reyes is overrated and Kawa underrated Nobody cares what you believe, dumbass.

Nice when the Jays give the fans something to cheer in anticipation of, not just after the fact.

DH12 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 You just cited Reyes going 1-4 in Buffalo as him being "not good enough" to replace Kawasaki. I mean really dude? That's weak. Listen what I am saying in the long run yes Reyes is probably the better player. But right now, Kawa is hot Reyes will not be playing at his top level for some games after coming back. In addition, I believe Reyes is slightly overrated and Kawa underrated. So it's not as automatic a move as you may think. Dig deeper a little more and think about it.
