OtisNixonFan Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 My mancrush for Martin continues to grow. Good job Lindogg though! Looked safe to me, as did Boni on SB attempt. That could be pure blatant homerism though.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 One more half inning and it's an official game. C'mon MB!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Okay, last inning for Mark! Rain after this half inning please! Was just thinking that we need to at least get this half inning in and then let it pour, lol.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 The team has like three option years on him. This makes me happy...who would have thought.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 The big question is can we expect Lind to perform like this for the next few years or should AA sell high? Obviously I doubt AA would sell, but if Lind continues this his value is going to get pretty darn interesting.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Another K! Rangers batters getting frustrated
Cello Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Grimm 67 pitches, 46 strikes Buehrle 72 pitches, 44 strikes
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Vik Austin Jackson was activated today, there's one guy back, lol. LOL, I have had so many teams crippled this year in various leagues. I have had 3 leagues with 8 players on the DL, and one with 9. Just one of those years. At least my team in the Shark Tank has been relatively healthy....
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Vintage MB lately, he must have learned how to skype his dog I wonder how MB will feel on bring your dog to the park day.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Prediction: MB will continue to cruise until he reaches some arbitrary 3 digit pitch count number and they'll take him out.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Rain, Rain, Rain!!! you don't like watching baseball?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 sell sell sell! That's what I would do, but it likely won't happen. This guy came from negative value and is gaining steam towards netting a good return. He may very well continue this for the next few years, but if AA can rid some payroll and add some more assets to the minors it might be worth it. I am confident he will empty the farm this coming winter, so a few added assets might help offset that.
Tuco Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 sell sell sell! I disagree. I dont see any team really giving up a great offer for Lind. Were better off holding onto him and praying this turaround is legit.
DH12 Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I fear that home run will Keep JP around a bit longer
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 72 pitches through 5 for Buehrle 7 innings or bust.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Hahaha.........that League I've been battered or I'd be up there with you. It's the way it goes sometimes Jay. Sucks when you know your team is so much better but half your key guys are on the DL.

Whats your definition of a "good return" At this point I think we'd be extremely lucky to fetch a top 100 prospect.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 You know AA won't sell on Lind, he's trying to save his job. No way AA sells. From a fans perspective, I would seriously give it some thought if the return was good, but from his perspective, it would be idiotic. At this point he should have only one goal and that should be to make the post season at any cost next season, otherwise he will be out of work.
Randy The Robot Verified Member Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I like Lind. - http://media.tumblr.com/3bd670ee00265222080cb020b9a7d60f/tumblr_inline_mgmt4a7nLI1rctsej.gif

That's just it. His value isn't there yet, but if he continues to hit like this until the deadline, it will start to get interesting. If he hits like this until the end of the season, he will have excellent value in the winter with the contract he is on.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Who starts tomorrow, Dickey? Yup, our very own Dickey, followed by a big Wang and then a questionable Johnson after that.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Going to put us back at 8 f***ing games under. What? Because one guy is on base?
