GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 With Fatcow's permission (on slightly short notice )... http://i.imgur.com/aP8QBxL.png Series so far: May 23, 2013 (Game 1/4): Jays 12-6 O's May 24, 2013 (Game 2/4): Jays 6-10 O's May 25, 2013 (Game 3/4): Jays 5- O's http://i.imgur.com/vaVmXyj.jpg Pitching Matchup: http://i.imgur.com/ttas5zP.jpg Lineups: http://i.imgur.com/gA4H2XI.jpg Jays Batting: http://i.imgur.com/3y0Aqoz.jpg Jays Pitching: http://i.imgur.com/CDXhpG6.jpg Orioles Batting: http://i.imgur.com/okWhj2J.jpg Orioles Pitching: http://i.imgur.com/g3DzOPo.jpg Blue Jays ZiPS (RoS) Projections: http://i.imgur.com/wkXWYJY.jpg Orioles ZiPS (RoS) Projections: http://i.imgur.com/bNxSDJD.jpg Notes: Orioles:: Jenkins faced Baltimore once last season in his rookie campaign. He pitched 3 1/3 innings out of the bullpen on August 25, when he surrendered four earned runs on six hits with two walks and a strikeout. Nick Markakis is currently riding a 10 game hitting streak after singling last night. O's 1B Chris Davis had another extra-base hit last night, lining an RBI double down the right-field line in the first inning. Davis leads with the Orioles with a .718 slugging percentage, the highest total for any batter that qualifies for the batting title. Jays: Toronto's offense has averaged 5.67 runs per game through the first three games of the series, and Jose Bautista and Adam Lind are on a tear. Each player has a batting average higher than .300 and an on-base-plus-slugging percentage higher than 1.000 in May. Josh Johnson started yesterday in the 2nd of his 3 rehab starts necessary. Standings: http://i.imgur.com/pi4Wp7U.jpg The game will be played at Rogers Centre. Hope you guys liked the GDT, sorry for it not being out too early! If you have any suggests, let's hear 'em! GO BLUE JAYS!

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 When gose bats before 8th in his 2nd start of the year, your lineup isn't very good.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Holy f*** this is a bad lineup though. Find me a worse 5-9 in baseball. I dare you!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 When gose bats before 8th in his 2nd start of the year, your lineup isn't very good. When the White Juan Pierre bats 6th, you know something is wrong. When a guy who will likely set the record for the worst K/BB ratio in the history of baseball is batting 5th you know something is wrong
Figgy1R22R Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 This lineup doesn't seem any worse than normal. Which is to say yes, this lineup is terrible.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Gibbons needs to be fired just for continuously batting JP fifth, idiotic. Nearly 50 games in, team has one of the worst records in baseball.................After all the moves the offseason maybe even worse then last year.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 LETS GO BLUE JAYS!!! The key is not getting behind by 3 after the first 5 batters.
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 You're doing well filling in for the 'cow. Gotta enlarge those lineups though.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 How can the 5-9 in the lineup be s bad? Thought this was a contender lol.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Lets go blue Jays!!! Need the offence again

It was an exaggeration idiot, and yes there are lots of options ,heck even rasmus has been decent at least with RISP.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I have a good feeling about today which means they will likely lose.
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Why did Zaun say taking the glass out Made the Skydome more home run friendly? He means the restaurant in centre field?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Good AB by mcclouth. Wish we had a leadoff guy to do that. Reyes is missed.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I think Jenkins is pretty decent, good sinker.
