Still way too early to care/get excited.

He must keep working hard in his command. 5.25 Walk/9 isn't sexy at all.

It's okay though if he's doing other things right, lots of guys walk that many in low-A.

2012 BB% in low-A vs. Norris:

Archie Bradley - 14.4

Kyle Crick - 14.2

Aaron Sanchez -13.5

Daniel Norris - 12.7

Justin Nicolino - 4.2

Perfectly normal.

A light on the dark road.

Even last year when he had an ERA of .844, scouts still really liked him...and of course everyone one of the box score readers on the board hated him... calling him another AA bust pick. I think there are going to be a few peaks and valleys for him yet.

I hope so. I have some questions about his makeup after reading the article on the main site. Sounds very Ricky Romero-ish with him just seemingly having lots of personal doubt. But maybe this turnaround is the end of that. I sure hope so.

Wow... thats a pretty incredible ERA...

I remember in 2007 when we pulled Jesse Litsch basically out of AA (although he had a few innings of AAA I think), it was a HUGE deal and very exciting because it was so rare to pull a guy so 'young'.

Now AA is running the show and he's got his stupid fingers on the trigger and he's yanking guys out of AA who barely have had enough time to really prove themselves, let alone go through proper development as a pitcher.

How many pitchers have we yo-yo'd in and out of the minors this year already? It's becoming a f***ing joke. So many bad moves this year to go along with the bad start. Where's the accountability?

Litsch was 22. Nolin is 24.

Except Sanchez/Bradley put up those numbers while being virtually unhittable and putting up excellent GB rates. Norris has been hit extremely hard and is a FB pitcher so far.

Definitely a step in the right direction but the concerns are still there.

I own him in a couple Dynasty Leagues for a reason.

Smart pick, the kid's gonna be at the least a high leverage situation reliever.
