I'm happy for the day off. Can do some other things tomorrow evening. As much as I love watching the Jays, it really puts a cramp into my free time.

In our division only the "O" are not playing so I will be watching at least one of them. The Jays can narrow the gap even if they are not playing tonight.

I thought he was ok to keep playing? DH him and platoon Lind/Boni in LF. Horrid D, but Gibby has to get Lind's bat in the lineup right now while he is seeing the ball well.

Call me weird, but i'm nervous about the yanks series, this team dug itself such a hole it cannot afford anymore bad stretches, and they have to win this series imo.

Nah, I think Melky is fine. He has supposedly been battling the injury since April. He has played in every game so far this season, I think he will continue to play through it.
