kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 So with the rather large strike zone tonight, and Bautista's predilection for arguing what he sees as bad calls, what are the odds we see him get into an argument, or possibly tossed?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Bautista has been walking a lot lately, need to see the guys behind him start driving him in.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Nice to see Hellickson's pitch count up so high.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Can really tell EE wants to come out of his shoes here
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I'd rather have Edwin batting with 2-on 2-out then Lind with 3-on 2-out.
jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 If Lawrie had struck out rather than GIDP, it would of been much more productive. Ugh. Hope he finds his stroke again soon.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 This offense has crawled back under their rock it seems.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Bah... Need to wait for your pitch Edwin, just because its 2-0 you can't assume to swing on anything....
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 This offense has crawled back under their rock it seems. The ump is not helping at all
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Lawrie is looking more and more like a perennial ground ball hitter...
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Bah... Need to wait for your pitch Edwin, just because its 2-0 you can't assume to swing on anything.... I thought that was a good pitch to drive. Edwin just got underneath it
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Lawrie is looking more and more like a perennial ground ball hitter... Aww come on. He smoked that
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Not a good time to lose the strike zone MB...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Queue the Buerhle implosion on scrubs like Fuld ....
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Buehrle should just keep throwing low-inside off-the-plate pitches that the umpire is calling, hitter can't hit those .............. WOW, walk at the worst time... THANKS BUEHRLE
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I love Super Sam. Fatcow, nice job on the initial post...don't know if the seating chart is necessary. Maybe pick a Blue Jay as a key player and put their face up there with maybe career numbers against the pitcher. More JPA face you can show the better.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I wish the Jays would take better approaches at the plate and stop trying to drive everything. Has no one learned from watching guys like Miguel Cabrera? The guy is up there in HR's year after year, yet he still goes opposite field and tries to find holes when opportunities arise.
baconpancakes Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 If this is the case how much less crappy will he have to be next year when his salary is 2x as much? frightens me, this "going all in" could cripple this team for a few years if they dont step it up.
