If you make a legit arguement with reasoning to back it up, you won't get banned for it.

If people just start getting banned for things they did on another forum then this no longer becomes a public forum and rather it becomes an exclusive club. I don't think anyone want's that, I know I don't. I just think if people start spamming or personally attacking posters, etc, then the mods need to step in and take appropriate action, which in most cases should be a warning. Banning should be a last resort.

Yup. If everyone knows that the mods are active, why would they risk getting banned? I think the instances will be rare. Much of the trolling on the old forum was a result of a poor environment caused by inadequate moderation.

Anyways that was a hell of win today. Nice to see my boy Delabar with a smooth inning. When he's on his game paired with Janssen it allows the team to play seven Inning games.

 

Curiousity, does anyone see the jays dealing Johnson/Happ/Romero to replenish the farm? Or maybe for cost controlled young talent?

Perhaps the creation of this board and the destruction of the Internet troll army that the bluejays website is responsible for will help us appease the baseball gods and end our punishment. This board could turn the season around. I think we should only count the jays record since this board was created. So far 1-0!

Well for me it comes down to the fact that Delabar is probably the only guy in our pen with two plus pitches. I mean Janssen has plus control/command, Santos has a plus fastball and is probably a shade below plus on his junk. Delabar's splitter and fastball combo scream high leverage guy to me. Especially if he maintains that filthy K/9 from last year.

Controlled players maybe. I don't see them giving the impression that they are taking a step backwards (even though they should be). Casual fans take things to an extreme so hyped up (Johnson) or popular players (Romero) for someone that has never played a game will appear like the process is starting all over again. I really think the front office is being run like a political office right now, it's more about doing things that don't kill the popularity rather than what is best for the team.

it was never going to get fixed. MLB doesn't care about the message boards unless someone offs themselves because of it. baseball is run by dinosaurs. most of baseball has barely embraced the modern player evaluation and you want them to have IT guys getting paid once the board is set up? they are not actually involved with the message boards once they are setup unless they get complaints.

 

a new board is a better solution than waiting for mlb to embrace the modern elements of the 18th century. lol flat earthers rule!!
