John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I highl doubt it, but there's also the minor league portion of the rule 5 draft to worry about

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 When is Ryan borucki gonna get in a gcl game, has his tjs rehab begun?
flafson Verified Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I guess I should have clarified, I think it was in regards to the Trayvon Martin thing. George Zimmerman, not guilty. He seems like a great kid And if your post was about the elbow injury, I think he's just frustrated because he's been down there for a little while and all he's been doing Is throwing bullpens. He just wants to get into games, he really seems to love baseball so I see why he is frustrated. I was upset when he said he's glad he left that forsaken country. Now when you mentioned it was about Trayvon Martin it made me even more upset. By the law they have in Florida, it was insane to convict Zimmerman, maybe if they lowered the standard of manslaughter he would have been guilty. The way the law works there, there is very little difference between first degree murder, 2nd degree and manslaughter. It was alot closer to accidental death with negligence than it was murder which is why he wasn't convicted. To say his country is forsaken... I don't like that path, it generally leads to senseless riots on the street.
flafson Verified Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Not sure Santos and Lawrie are making that much money, only leaves Melky.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 It was probably Melky, wasn't Melky in Dunedin during that time Had to be Melky, he made enough money. Hope he bought them steak dinners

theblujay Verified Member Posted July 19, 2013 Author Posted July 19, 2013 @keithlaw In Trenton tonight to watch @MStrooo7 pitch for New Hampshire Nice, hopefully we get some nice info from him instead of just looking at the box score
ace3113 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Dan Jansen is legit Had a good feeling about him after reading more about him post draft. Good approach, contact bat, strong arm. He's going to eventually have to hit for power if he wants more love from those "prospect experts" though (see. AJ Jimenez).
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 KLaw says Stroman 91-94. I would post the tweet, but I have no clue how.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Little Stroman 4 scoreless, 2H, 2walks, 3K's Norris 2 scoreless, 2H
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 I know there are lots of people out there who are non-Kalfus fans, but he went 4-4 today. Good work If he somehow becomes an above-average MLB player that thread is going to be legendary
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 6IP 3H 1ER 2BB 5K for Stroman.
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Good start, what does KLAW saw? He hasn't posted anything yet...
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Just looking through Stroman's tweets and I found a couple interesting things. Apparently he's pretty good friends with Sanchez And then there's this: "Edmark Dalmacio @EdMarkD 16 Jul @MStrooo7 You think you'll ever use the weighted ball program used by @SteveDelabar_50 and Brett Cecil?" "Marcus Stroman @MStrooo7 16 Jul @EdMarkD @SteveDelabar_50 absolutely!"
ace3113 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 6IP 3H 1ER 2BB 5K for Stroman. Was that 1 run a homerun by any chance?
