I've read that in the future of baseball pools there might be a way to send picks to other people in the event you're not around for an extended period of time.

Don't hold your breath though. I expect we'll see flying cars long before that.

Lets just have the waiver draft in the Hurl's basement. We could smoke cigars, drink beer, play poker and bet on the ponies as well. It will be a fun filled afternoon!

I bet Hurl loves having 19 men play in his basement, oh wait...

 

 

Anyway I drop Tyler Naquin in my trade with North. I have a quick question that shouldn't come into play anyway (in this case)...but is Naquin available in the waiver draft? Honestly the deal with North was done Friday night.

I think that's the right call. But i just wanted it stated in case anyone ever drops someone better than the Naq.

That's kind of gibbers' MO.

 

I suppose that you're right but he showed in the LOD draft that he's not 100% dogmatic about that with the Felix Hernandez pick. He favors youth sure but there has to be upside too. Is Santana really a player on the upswing or rather a player due for a dramatic downturn? Since he's not picking, we have all the time in the world to speculate. I think he takes the slightly older more intriguing upside play but only he knows the answer of course.

Wouldn't Naquin be eligible to be added after the waiver draft since he played AA in 2014?

 

That was my line of thinking, meh, I wouldn't land him.
