It's funny how it's just hard to reach agreements with certain guys.

I've always found it easy to trade with Dinger, BTS, KK, Boxy, and Silvergun.

Can never seem to come to terms with Gibbers, Silvio, The Hurl, North, or TCA.

Some of those feelings might be off base

I don't know if we've ever really had much discussions, but you can probably add me tot he the second list... I apologize to the league :P

An addition to the three-team trade that wasn't ready this morning.

To THE LYON TAMER: Brett Oberholtzer, MiLB #47, MiLB #102

To BALCO PHARM TEAM: MiLB #21, MiLB #81

North! Trade me the #21 pick so I can have 20 - 23. Then I can take my whole window for each pick and piss you all off!!

Our matchup is pretty embarrassing. Both teams have sucked at everything.

This is likely the nail in the coffin as far as my pitching goes. Started Edwin Jackson against the D-backs and looks like he is primed to get lit up.

I tend to deal a lot with TCA, z3r0s, havok, FTD and jays_fever because they're open to just about anything and usually respond quickly. It leads to a lot of potential trade permutations.

Some owners tend to make certain players untouchable, or they'll only be interested in trading a select group of players. There's nothing wrong with that approach, and I respect it, it's just not conducive to my trading style. I don't avoid trade talks with any owners though. If a fit exists I pursue it.

lol. I could package up to #3 if you're open to that!

You and I are both pretty pragmatic, so when we match up on a need, it usually comes together quickly. Silvio is just a stingy bastard to negotiate with, and gibbers usually doesn't respond unless he's very interested. Boxy and KK are both gentleman, and people might not realize it, but boxy is a total sweetheart IRL. North is always a willing trade partner and likes to talk shop even if it doesn't go anywhere.

It's worked for him in FC, so I can't say it's ineffective. Just don't go looking to get Alfonso Soriano off him for anything less than a 1st rounder or Top 50 prospect.

It saddens me that you didn't include a blurb about me. But I agree with everything else.

My asking price on Soriano has been either a high second rounder or a similar valued veteran starting pitcher (eg. like Tim Hudson or AJ Burnett). Not asking the world for him :P

I was also deemed unworthy of a blurb. What an *******, that Dinger.

f*** I helped start his dynasty with the trade Ian Desmond. He is kind of an ungrateful asshat

Geez, sorry for dissing you two. You're both fun to trade-rape.

Re: the three way:

Sandoval is being underrated pretty severely. He doesn't need to hit lots of dingers to be valuable. Mauer is the best player in the deal regardless of position. HR is only one category.

McCann is a good get I just wouldn't pay that price and it seems to me that whenever Cain is bad, he seems to be able to make pitching an uphill climb all by himself.

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. Still like what Zeros got.

I like the Mauer end of it the best, IMO his ability to hit for average is criminally underrated, even as a 1B. It's a tool on par with Stanton's power, which is obviously a much sexier commodity.

Might not be the best strategy in this league though. He's had a hard time getting things done.

My player evaluations and asking prices are quite fair. I'm not going to trade MLB guys like Ian Kennedy or Victorino for prospects or players that will hardly have an impact for my team. I've made several deals in this league - acquiring guys like Mike Minor, Tony Cingrini, Jayson Werth, Shane Victorino, Freddie Freeman, V-Mart, Ian Kennedy, and Mike Moustakas and others. I'm not going to sell assets for less than what they are worth.

Most of the time, I find teams say they aren't a match. Like for example with you and David Robertson. And Spanky saying he needs pitching so he wouldn't trade me Tim Hudson.

That's like me with Havok, TCA, Boxy, KK. Maybe some people are just better fits.

The hardest I've found to reach a deal with is Silvio.

Oh man, way to ruin my tough guy image! Guys I enjoy negotiations with the most are Dinger, NJH, FTD, Cats Ass, BTS, P2F and Fatcox.

Basically number one thing for me is dialogue and reasoning. If I send an inquiry, do you respond, how quickly and you tell me what you want. I hate negotiating with people who have it in their mind that they are going to get the better end of the deal and won't budge on their asking price no matter how much you reason with them. If you don't want to move a guy for what I'm offering, explain why and what you'd want to get it done instead.

I do like Silvio, though I hate drafting with him, he's just too aggressive in pushing his players and they are almost exclusively guys he just wants to get rid of. GD is really bad for not compromising which is frustrating in the BBDL but it obviously works for him, just I won't be having any part of that. Those are the two guys that stick out.

THB: Kennedy + 48 --------> Napoli and 66

FTD: Fried + 46 + 77 ---------> Ian Kennedy and Tyler Thornburg

BB: Napoli + Thornburg + 66 ----------> Max Fried + 46 + 48 + 77

Me no likey this one for BB. I feel like if he shops Napoli a la carte, he can probably get two prospects better than Max Fried. But I might just be stat scouting Fried here.

I get that 20 year old lefties with 6/6/6+ pitch grade profiles are sexy, but if we let the world turn 100 times, Max Fried doesn't end up as anything more than Tyler Thornburg after more than 60 of those Earthly spins.

Not sure what others have experienced but our Minor/Werth deal was fair and pretty quickly agreed upon. Good overall experience as far as Im concerned

There's mistake in the spreadsheet. I had to drop Chris Okey when I took on Wilmer Flores. Otherwise, I would have been at 13 so I dropped Okey to make 12. I went down to 11 with the Owings activation and back up to 12 with the acquisition of Paulino. Long story short, Okey should be off the sheet. He also becomes draft ineligible because he did not sign with the team that drafted him (Padres).

I killed him for ya.
