I didn't really understand why you were throwing in the towel in the first place. You're not a slam dunk playoff team, but it wouldn't be surprising if you made it either. Especially if you add a piece or two.

Not really throwing in the towel. I could still move guys like Kendrick, Soriano, V-Mart, Kennedy etc for younger pieces and compete. I've had some intriguing dialogue with some managers regarding guys like Kennedy and Kendrick. Some managers asked me about Tulo, and I'm not looking to move him unless it's something crazy.

I've tried getting Tim Hudson from Spanky, and he won't budge. He'd be a nice pitching upgrade for me, though Jay is quite hard-headed when it comes to certain players. Even when you offer him something where he's getting the better end of it.

Agreed, Spanky is the worst. I've sent about twenty lopsided offers for Jose and Verlander, and he's never even sent me a counter. Dick cheese!

I like Olt to an extent, though Moose didn't cost me much at all so I was willing to roll the dice on him. I'd consider moving a similar type pitcher like Turner for Olt straight up.

My team has been truly dreadful so far. The fact I am sitting in the playoffs (early obviously) is a good sign (have been very lucky so far). Hopefully the guys turn it on soon

It's early Although Kemp's not struggling; merely treading water.

He's actually leading my team in dingers too, with three. My guys are getting on base but aren't hitting for any power. Pitching has kept us in the race.
