I understand the ambiguity now that you state it that way but no, he wasn’t on their active roster yesterday. I mean, Tucker Davidson did not get a day of service time for Friday. Their active roster was the 26 players active for their game that day. Any transactions the Braves made after the game were for the next day

No. In my opinion you took a super risky and misguided interpretation on the rule. I’m just not really sure how it’s a reasonable stance to say that Tucker Davidson was active yesterday. Davidson and all of those players are just on waivers now.

I want to make a point of stating that this season doesn't count and therefore BTS is like the Astros of the DDL and I will not be congratulating him

2021 season is now open.

 

Both of the votes passed. We will be expanding to a 26 person MLB roster and a 14 person MiLB roster before the 2021 season begins. The exact timing of the roster expansion is TBD. I will probably try to do it fairly so it's not some free agent free-for-all with short notice. We may wait until around the New Player Draft to expand.

 

We need to decide as a league what to do with the IL. A few options:

- Go back to a 5 player limit

- Set it to some other numerical limit

- Keep it unlimited with no other rules. The only limitation is Fantrax's built in option that prevents you from making a roster move if there is an active player on the IL.

- Keep it unlimited with a rule that nobody can add a player with a red-flag (this needs to be manually enforced in a free league)

- Keep it unlimited but all IL players need to be dropped or added to the active roster before the NPD (with or without the restriction on adding red-flag players)

 

Also, if anyone refers to BTS as the 2020 Champion* they need to include an asterisk.

 

*fluke champion during a shortened season where it was impossible to establish a real deserving champion
