TRM Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Oh well. If anyone won't get suspended, it'll be these two plus Melky. They already served there's. At least they aren't big players. This helps Boxy, he can tank more effectively. I forget who has Gio off the top of my head, everth cabrera is another fantasy relevant player who's toast.
TRM Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Braun is the big one. That's enough to tank somebody's season. Thankfully, that's what Boxy is going for.

Gio is off the hook according to ESPN: "One player listed who will be scrutinized but possibly exonerated is the Nationals’ Gio Gonzalez. Gonzalez was listed among Biogenesis clients, but two sources told ESPN that the only substances he received from the clinic were legal."
TRM Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 At least this might bring back the runaway juggernaut that is realmins team Well, Grandal was never a part of my team, and at this point Salty is a semi palatable replacement for him. Colon was a depth guy, but he has been great for K/BB. Losing him and Ryu in a matter of days would certainly suck. We'll see how the juggernaut manages.
TRM Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Realmin's team is scary because he's doing it without Stanton and Dickey. Well Stanton started a rehab assignment, and HanRam returned today. All we need is a Dickey turnaround, and we are really cooking. Nonetheless, Stanton should provide a boon to my power and OBP.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Ouch. Dinger is a shrewd man. I traded Melky too.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 At least this might bring back the runaway juggernaut that is realmins team Peavy just went down with an injury too, velo down today. Poor min.
TRM Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Peavy just went down with an injury too, velo down today. Poor min. I see the visions of trophies that danced in my head, fading quickly and rapidly. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Edit: He's a white sox pitcher, he can't possibly actually be injured... Edit 2: Apparently it is a chest/pec injury.. Anyone got a precedent for that handy?

Yeah, at the risk of sounding over-confident (famous last words), I have the second best offence without Hanley and Stanton, and my pitching staff can still be solid, maybe not as productive in terms of counting stats, but I think (hope) I'll manage. Bad night though, holy...

torontofan Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Peavy just went down with an injury too, velo down today. Poor min. Jeez, this hurts my 12 team fun league. I have a team in a 12 team league (they only have 2 DL spots) my team currently has Stanton, Werth, Lawrie, Josh Johnson, Garza, B. Anderson, Peavy, Dickey, chris carpenter(dropped), Eaton (dropped), and Hill (traded). All who have been on the DL for long periods of time and Dickey who has been extremely ineffective and my team currently sits in last place. Didn't expect my roster to have this many injuries and my team currently is in last place .
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 He doesn't want to. I offered him a ten pick upgrade from 68 to 58 which admittedly isn't much but from his perspective it's literally something for nothing. He came back with pick 35 straight up for the two picks which I turned down. He's doesn't seem interested in a compromise so whatever let the picks go down the toilet.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Why wouldn't you take pick 35? Meh..........I would with late picks. I have pick 35. That's what he wanted for his last two picks.
TRM Verified Member Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Wandy Rodriguez leaves with forearm tightness. This is a disaster of a week!

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I would like to use this post to say, according to the Yahoo ranks, the top 3 pitchers so far this year are all on my team... No one else even has 2 in the top 10 at this point.

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Hey now, I'm not that bad, I'm not saying my team is going to wipe the floor and then take a s*** on your team. But also, my CF/OF depth is starting to get stupid, and I could trade a piece or 2 away. Carlos Gomez-CF, Josh Hamilton-CF, Leonys Martin-CF, Shane Victorino-CF, The amazing Yasiel Puig-OF, and Christian Yelich-CF. I wouldn't mind trading away Victorino. If anyone want's to do a prospect swap with top prospects, Christian Yelich is available, he'll be playing CF for the Marlins later this year. So if you have a prospect blocked at a different position and want your CFer of the future send me a message.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Davis is looking like a huge steal for you, Good pick!
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Davis is looking like a huge steal for you, Good pick! Pretty crazy that Iwakuma is the #1 SP at the moment. Probably the two biggest yoinks of the draft.
TRM Verified Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Well, I lead both sets of power rankings, and have the most guys named Giancarlo. So THERE!

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Holy f***, what is with all the strained obliques? I must have like 6 or 7 guys across both leagues.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 So how far does Gray drop now? Easily outside the top 10?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 So how far does Gray drop now? Easily outside the top 10? Why? How? Who do you have before him?
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Why? How? Who do you have before him? I haven't given it to much thought but I wouldn't waste a high pick on someone who pitches at coors
