It was a very difficult decision, but I feel like this gives me the best chance of success. I may be a little higher on Mahle and Meadows than a lot of people are though. If it was just for deGrom and not Lester as well, I would have taken yours.

Yeah I like trades where it works out for both parties. I'd probably not do the trade now just because ew pitchers and Beni exploded after I traded him (of course) but it looks like it turned out to be a good deal for both of us for the most part.

Good defensive catchers have a very safe floor. That's why KATOH had him so high.

 

It's not hard to imagine Vlad providing very negative D and being a 3 WAR guy going forward. If Kelly can be even slightly below average with the bat, he'll surpass that.

 

This is just another classing case of you not understanding the importance of defense and overrating bat only prospects. Real baseball isn't fantasy, bro.

Advice: It was an ugly night for Zunino, who struggled to pick up the baseball against Marco Estrada twice and Ryan Tempura with runners on first-and-third in the eighth. After what seemed like a breakout year for the 27-year-old backstop in 2017, Zunino has regressed back to the hitter we saw in the past with a .196 average and an ugly 102/12 K/BB ratio. He's still worthy of a fantasy roster spot because of his position and power (13 homers), but there's no question 2018 has been a disappointing season
