Although, TJS takes Reyes well out of the top 5 prospects IMO. But Brinson is better than top 25.

And Dansby isn't a top 5 fantasy prospect IMO and Martes isn't top 25.

IMO every healthy #1 upside arm leapfrogs him, which means he slots in probably @ 21 behind Anderson Espinoza for me.

 

I think you can argue for him even being worse

 

I think in the most optimistic ranking you put him after Glasnow and Giolito, so 15th overall. You're talking comparable ceilings but Glasnow and Giolito's warts aren't as big as fresh TJS.

I think when you're striking out guys at that rate, the command issues worry you less. Just look at Lance McCullers, who coincidentally is also another guy not far from TJS.

I got Jose Fernandez when it was announced he needed TJS. Sometimes it is the only way for us also rans to get a top end pitcher. But unlike JoFer I suppose we can't treat Reyes as a top end pitcher.
