Anyone looking for a closer? Because boy do I have the player for you! Alex Colome! He's 1 of only 2 SP-eligible closers, so you can start 6 RPs instead of 5. Which = more Holds + Saves for you!

 

Only reason I'm entertaining moving him is because I feel he's a waste being my only closer and I can probably get more value out of him by moving him.

 

On the flip side, I'd also have interest in obtaining a cheapish closer that I could pair with Colome for down the stretch.

I'm scared North knows something I don't though. He proposed the trade last night, I countered with some tweaks, and he accepted it in ~1 minute.

I like TCA's end of it more mainly because of Carrasco and the fact that he bought low on a Top 10-20 asset. It all really comes down to if McCutchen's decline as a Top 10-20 asset is for real and if Rendon finally works his way back into becoming a fantasy stud. Fielder is a non-asset right now, Adam Jones isn't as valuable in this league as in the standard 5x5 leagues, Pedroia is an aging asset though still could provide solid value from 2B, Santana has quietly put together a solid season and he's definitely more valuable in a league that has .OBP as a scoring category. Though still not sure I'd be comfortable in trading an ace like Carrasco and selling low on Cutch on players like Santana, Jones, and Rendon. TCA got the two best players in this deal with Cutch and Carrasco.
