f***ing Yahoo put Lourdes Gurriel as NA rather than on the DL so now I can't gain a spot on the roster.

 

If it makes you feel any better, he probably suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and it's dumb that you're wasting a roster spot on him

 

In retrospect I'm not sure how that was supposed to make you feel better.

BTS just informed me that I should probably shop Marco Gonzales, and he's right, I just didn't think anyone was paying enough attention to give me something good for him. He's the breakout SP of the year that no one gives a s*** about. He could be had, but it's tough to make it worth my while because my farm is already pretty full and I'd have to promote someone assuming I take a prospect back.

Okay, I've gotten an offer regarding deGrom that, while I think it's a bit light, I can probably grumble a bit and live with so I'll put him up with that as a starting bid. You can bid on him separately, or together with someone like Lester, closers, etc. If you want to bid on Lester by himself you can also do so, but it won't be an auction unless I get a good offer to start it off.

 

The auction will end Sunday night at midnight. My preference is prospects/younger players close to the majors, or just breaking in, but I'll consider other possibilities too.

 

Top offer: deGrom + Lester + cut prospects for top 10 prospect, potentially high end young hitter in the MLB, lower end SP with upside.

In retrospect, I'd have just dumped Zimmer or Hoffman. But, you know, me doing the wrong thing is pretty much a guarantee at all times.
