z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 good dealing with you KK. Sent a response to your PM, but your box is full (how do you always have so many messages lol)
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 so SG has 48 K's thru 2 days... I've got some work to do here.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 David Dahl is currently running a 50% K rate. Holy hell that is special.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Edwin... now is really not the time to break out brah
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Jorge Soler might be breaking out. His BB rate has been unreal! I think he's gonna be a top 50-75 player at years end.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Classic EE. *Checks month on calendar* yup, par for the course.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 His BB rate has been unreal! I think he's gonna be a top 50-75 player at years end. Another bomb for him today, now slashing .315/.434/.543. The K/BB is outstanding. If he can hit around .270, he could wind up around .390/.500 which would make me one very happy owner. The raw power was always there but he made some changes this spring to shorten up his swing and it seems to be paying dividends with his pitch selection.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 I'd be open to moving Corbin or maybe some of my other arms. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 Juan Soto for that other guy is going to be one of the worst trades in league history
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 I accept the new world order where Juan Soto is a true talent 250 wRC+ bat with .400 ISO and three walks for every k. All hail Overlord Soto, the Dominican Barry Bonds.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 Soto's numbers are absolutely bonkers, his entire MiLB career. Age vs. Level; more walks than strikeouts; insane slash and legit power creep this year. At this point, it's a coin flip between him and Vlad for who will have the better MLB career. Both are on the way-too-early HOF track IMO. I wonder if Brendan Rodgers will ever beat out Story or DJL for a job in Colorado. He'll probably get traded to the Rays or something and then get hurt a lot and play in a platoon with mediocre ratios, like every other Ray.

I believe I read that contract talks between DJL and the Rockies have not gone well, so it's possible he won't be there to be in the way.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Any Matt Harvey fans out there? Matt Harvey DFA Boy that was a long fall from the top.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Matt Harvey DFA Boy that was a long fall from the top. I feel this is a good thing. He'll get in another organization and they'll help him find something deep within
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Man, Mazara has been on some kind of hot streak. Is the breakout finally happening?
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 I feel this is a good thing. He'll get in another organization and they'll help him find something deep within Ticks?
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 Man, Mazara has been on some kind of hot streak. Is the breakout finally happening? Mazara and Soler post hype breakouts make me happy
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 You know, all of a sudden, Berrios can't strike guys out anymore. Are the f***ing Twins making him pitch to contact? My god what a stupid org. Miles Mikolas is my saviour. Another game without walking anyone.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Man, Mazara has been on some kind of hot streak. Is the breakout finally happening? Loving it. I still see .300/30 seasons in his future.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Gerrit Cole is absurd. This is just on another level right now, spin rates can only take you so far.
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Gerrit Cole is absurd. This is just on another level right now, spin rates can only take you so far. 42% K rate and 5% BB rate. It's May 5th and he's been worth 2.5 fWAR.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Matt Harvey DFA Boy that was a long fall from the top. Gibbers Matt Harvey for Matt Wieters deal is looking pretty irrelevant in the long run
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Gibbers Matt Harvey for Matt Wieters deal is looking pretty irrelevant in the long run Harvey seems like such a douchebag. I know, irrelevant, but if this happened to anyone, I'm glad it was someone like him.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Looking to acquire SP mid and upper level. Any player or prospect is available outside of Bryce and Judge. Will take a decent amount to get Gallo involved
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 pretty medicore effort by my team and a strong one by SG let him get back into the ratios. Here we sit after a whole week TIED in OBP. Got ice cold Wilson Contreras set to break the tie. Hope it goes my way! (a HR would be nice too )
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 I was Trout'd... Don't worry, I'm sure Alex Cobb will save your team any day now
