I feel like often scouts don't know s*** about power potential if it's at all in the average range; trying to discern the actual ceiling is very hit and miss except when the power is obviously plus-plus. Everyone had Bogie pegged as a 60 game power, ~30 HR guy... and now he's just a dude. I do enjoy how average he's become, however, since I never had a share.

Yeah, peak Robles could be either Lorenzo Cain or Andrew McCutchen, or something in between.

The problem is his swing I think. He's got raw power but his swing is geared towards slapping/spraying balls all over the field, not necessarily with authority. It's a hit for average swing.

The raw is there, for sure. Maybe he needs an overhaul, a 90 wRC+ doesn't pay the bills.

Wow, I'm doing a terrible job of managing Yandy Diaz here.

In my lineup this week; 0-5, .375 OBP

Out of my lineup this week; 4-8, .600 OBP

First time playoff nerves. I'll assume you haven't shaved, cut out all sex/masturbation activity and have given out rally towels to all your fans. I'd suggest some breathing exercises to get your Yandy game on point. All of this advice is what I assume playoff teams do...without really having a clue what playoff teams do.

I'm going back to my single year leagues now as they are all I have left.

Don't feel bad. NJH & Dinger's inability to grow a beard is likely the reason they have never raised the big trophy

You don't have to keep kicking me when I'm down Hurl

You REALLY don't have to do this, whilst being up 9-4 going into the weekend? So gauche...

Just a little observation that I found humorous.

but guess I'll just shut up and not say anything while ahead. Wouldn't want to offend anyone's sensibilities.

Hey FTD, looks like you left the wrong Clayton on the bench! Good luck drowning me in a sea of pitching dogshit!

Jeez z3r0s, how tacky.

Fml who would have thought Kershaw would throw a turd like that in crunch time. I wanted an elite start to try and steal OBPA and KBB.

Now my only shot at winning is an offensive explosion where I sweep all offense. Very unlikely :(

Also, I've been receiving a number of inquiries on Brent Honeywell; I'm a big fan but some of these have been pretty good so I may decide to move him. I more than likely won't accept a deal before the playoffs are done, but you can start getting your early bids in now and we can get a line of communication going, that is if the board reverts to loading a page in under 5 minutes.

Thanks Spanky, good match man. Now a week vs JB as my reward! (at least it's not the Slayers :P)

Congrats to all last weeks victors.

Wow, I hadn't really been keeping tabs on Jose Abreu, but I knew he had warmed up a bit after a very bad start. He's now slashing 302/353/556 with a 138 wRC+ and he's also going to go 35/95/100.

I'm happy he turned it around for you z3r0s. I feel bad for you when you made your win-now trade and then Eaton died and Abreu stumbled out of the gate.

yeah it would have been a kick to the nuts as a BUNCH of my players struggled to start the year (Abreu, Story, Contreras, Seager, Dee, Quintana). Luckily enough of them have rounded into shape at the right time (and Rhys... Rhys helps a lot lol).

You know, every day my dream of Jorge Alfaro becoming Gary Sanchez seems to be slipping further away. Catchers f***ing suck.

It seems as though The Legend isn't quite so legendary.

Jason Parks really whiffed on that one... although he was driving the "Lindor is a superstar" bandwagon. You win some, you lose some.
