This is the second time that Luke Gregerson has gone 19th overall in the DDL waiver draft. Trivia.

I'm drafting silvergun's pick based on a minor trade to be announced soon-ish. I'll take Christian Arroyo.

He was available? This has a bit of a Contreras feel to it.

89 wRC+ in AA, wicked.

If you're going with Luke Gregerson trivia, how about he shockingly led major league relievers in SwStr %?

Thanks boxy. He was 20 years old and his home park is where bats go to die. Scouts think he'll be a .300 hitter, the comp I've seen is Martin Prado.

If Christian Arroyo ever gets ONE major league save, I'll run a lap around the Rogers Centre naked

Arroyo has a similar profile to Panik, and he’s ready for the major leagues. Although he slashed just .274/.316/.373 with an 89 wRC+ in Double-A last season, FanGraphs’ own Eric Longenhagen said that Arroyo’s struggles were “largely a result of the poor hitting environment in Richmond” and that “Arroyo’s feel for contact remains superb and he still projects as a .300-plus hitter with supernatural feel for doubles-producing contact down both lines and to both gaps.”

Granted, this is one of the more optimistic reviews of Arroyo out there, but it isn’t surprising. Most analysts agree that Arroyo has a plus to plus-plus hit tool to go along with mediocre power and speed. Longenhagen adds that Arroyo “projects as a Martin Prado type of player at peak, someone who primarily lines up at third base but can kick around to other positions should the need arise and who also makes lots of hard, low-lying contact.”

As an Arroyo owner, I can confirm that hes a hits guy with no other standout tools who will move to 3rd base because there is no room in the Giants MIF.

He made the back half of several Top 100s if I'm not mistaken. The power is middling but the stick is legit, and I'm hoping he's one of these 2B/3B/SS fantasy utility types.

A bit surprised to see two contenders use 25-man spots on prospects. Are these your only NA guys?

Is for me. Its a bad waiver draft for me this year as well. Most value guys are holds dudes and I'm already stacked with them.

Having already 'used' 2 waiver picks on Abreu and Eaton means I don't have as many holes as I would. Need another depth starter, but the options are... no appealing.

Yeah, the SP options suck. The only one I had as a candidate for my first two picks was Triggs.

good luck. I couldn't get s*** for Waiver #8. And all I was asking for was an upgrade to a 2nd round MiLB pick.

I wonder who this f'n guy is acquiring with Glyber
