Since it has to be all MiLB pieces on JF's team, I'm guessing it's something like 1st + Sanchez + Moran? Lynn is no slouch -- 27 year old who has been excellent this year.

Jesus. Belt is 26 and has a much higher career major league wRC+ than Moran has in A+ in AA, and Moran returns Lynn while Belt returns... nothing.

Ya it is frustrating trying to deal with Gibbers. It is always a hassle trying to get a hold of him and then he goes and trades players out of nowhere.

The most confusing thing is that it feels like this came out of nowhere. I thought gibbers would have at least posted that he plans on moving Lynn in the next couple days.

Just can't bear to mortgage my future, already did that to the farm but that's a lot easier to swallow than dealing your studs under 30, part-time Melky comps notwithstanding. 2 on the DL looks like writing on the wall to me.

 

That Upton/Darvish trade was a pretty foolish decision in retrospect, should have waited until closer to the playoffs to be surer of health.

 

At least I jumped off the Chavez train just in time, I like Werth a lot even if he's ancient.

Just to clarify, is our deadline the same as Yahoo's? I'm 95% sure the Yahoo trade deadline is 2:59 AM EST on September 1st. Are we going by that, or 11:59 PM EST on August 31st.
