I have no idea what to think of that guy, the reports on power especially are all over the place.

 

His profile looks a lot like Starlin Marte to me, I was more refering to the fact that he's probably in the second tier international free agent pool.

Can anybody make use of Ike Davis in a 1B/Util platoon? 0.354 wOBA vs RHP this year, and 0.357 in his career.

 

I'd like to move him today for a prospect that has a chance to be a guy.

Although Tomlin and his stupid 8.09 K/BB (easy to misread as K/9, nobody could blame you,) 3.12 xFIP, 3.23 SIERA is available for the same return if anyone wants an interesting guy without a job.

 

I'm rostering Tomlin in the Premier League as an extra BP guy (SP eligibility). His K/9 is intriguing. Wouldn't give up much for him in the DDL however since I likely doubt he'd be a keeper for next season.

Speaking of catchers, Yan Gomes has a 4 WAR this season so far. I remember shopping him back earlier this season, and nobody wanted him. I sent him in a package for somebody back in July - either for Brantley or Cruz. He's definitely been useful in fantasy this season.

People were probably just hesitant to invest after ~300 PA last year. He's now a guy you can pencil in as your main C and be pretty satisfied about it though.
