I agree with most of this, but to be fair, BTS is asking for a reasonable price.

Never said anything about BTS' asking price. Just talking about Andrus in general.

He's a top-150 player in this format. And at this point I'm not even asking for that in return.

I wouldn't consider him a top 150 guy. Lots of his value is tied into his stolen bases and the fact that he plays shortstop, and outside of that he doesn't hit well enough or get on-base enough. I'm sure your asking price is very reasonable. Just stated how he has been overrated in fantasy baseball circles over the years. I remember back a couple of years people were taking him between picks 50 and 60, which was absurd.

I like how you sell garbage all the time and the moment someone else sells a player you don't like, you s*** all over them. Just don't bid.

Anyway, I don't see what makes a guy like Zimmerman more vauable than Andrus FWIW and he seems to have a much higher perceived value. That's even without the positional difference.

I sell garbage all the time? lol.

I'm assuming all the "garbage" I sell would be complete studs on your team. At least I have "garbage" to sell :P

I'm not sure why you's poking fun at Andrus as a top-150 player. He's been that for awhile. Altuve is in the same class.

Yeah Altuve is another player whose extremely overvalued in fantasy baseball. I've seen him taken inside the Top 100 of some recent drafts.

They've overrated in 7x7s because they're top-100 players in 5x5s.I think that makes them underrated in leagues likes this though, where people are smart enough to know that their value takes a hit.

I don't even consider them top 100 players in 5x5. You can find one dimensional players with SB's much later in drafts or off waivers. That's just my opinion and its always a strategy I've employed with all my teams, even yearly leagues. I've never owned players like Andrus or Altuve and I never plan to draft them unless they really drop down in a draft.

Eh, he's not particularly sexy in this format, but the fact we use hits and not average gives Altuve a nice bump in value, he's up among the leaders.

Andrus would likely enjoy the same benefit if he was, y'know, hitting.

They definitely hold some value because they are young, can steal bases and play middle infield positions. I just think their ADP during drafts is too early than what they are actually worth, which is why I've always stayed away from players like Andrus and Altuve.

Changing topics, Keuchel looking like the pitcher version of Blackmon is pretty annoying.

I picked him up in my 20 team, 40 man roster dynasty league. Pleasant surprise so far. I saw him pitch against the Jays when the Astros were in town back in April.

Guy just mowed the Tigers down. 2.85 xFIP with solid peripherals. I'd starting to think he might be a legit guy.

8.17 K/9 and 2.72 BB/9 so far this season. Even last year he wasn't that bad - 7.20 K/9 and 3.58 xFIP.

I think everyone in the league owned Keuchel last year lol.

Didn't think anything of him until recently. Looks legit.

Blackmon is a lock for an annual 30/30 .900 OPS line though.

I really can't even believe this has happened to you. Winning the Mike Trout lottery is enough luck for a decade, but then Blackmon happens. No offense, but I hope his production falls off a cliff.

And Trout goes chasing him?

Charlie Blackmon's contact rate is 92%? 97% in the zone.

What in the f***ing f***?

Charlie Blackmon hit .309 in the minors.

Well, that's quantifiable and you would be wrong. Both are top 100 guys even in 7x7 and whether you want to acknowledge it or not, SBs are a category. Would take both over someone like Chase Headley, Josh Hamilton and Shane Victorino.

Edit: and as I post this...awkward.

Ya, Headley for Andrus is kind of a bad deal.

Nobody believes that you posted that without seeing the trade details, *******.

I genuinely didn't though.

Mike Olt has homered in 3 straight games. Now he has a .286 ISO, and is hitting .195 on a .186 BABIP with a 32.6% K rate.

This is the type of s*** that can get frustrating about dynasty leagues. I would never even give Olt a second look in a redraft, but in this league I'd be kicking myself if he morphs into a fantasy relevant TTO 3B eligible guy, and I didn't hold onto him.

That's how I feel in the BBDL with Aaron Hicks. So much potential I can't bring myself to dump him, but man is it painful holding when I'm tight on roster spots.

I should have made that trade. McCarthy got hammered.
