I love his glove, but he's no fantasy stud.

He's still very young and any hitter who plays in Coors Field I'll take in fantasy baseball any day.

How the f*** does Johnny Cueto have 100% LOB and a .150 BABIP thru 55 IP? Lucky motherf***er. I'd be selling high on that if at all possible.

Remember when you offered him for Morrow and I rejected it without even thinking? Yea

Lol yeah I thought Morrow had one last hurrah left in the tank.

His DIPS and PD stats are outstanding though. I'm keeping him.

I'm not selling at all costs, but if someone wants to buy him as an ace I'd be signing off. He should regress towards an ERA around 3 and ~7.5 K/9. A solid SP2, but not a first round talent.

At that rate Cueto is still a 3+ K/BB guy with a great OBPA. Plus he's supposed to be one of the best at holding runners, which is responsible for some of the historic ERA/FIP split. And he pitches for a good offense.

It's nice to see our Price/Choo swap has been win-win so far! I've stomached the OBP and runs lost from Choo (8-1-1 in those categories) and have appreciated Price's mastery of the strike zone (high ERA be damned).

Choo-Price was a fair swap, but Freddie Freeman was probably an overpay on my part. I reasoned that Papi would replace his production, as I already had Davis at 1B, but FF looks damn good.

I heard that he'd never been willing to cut down his swing with 2 strikes before this year and now that he has the results have been immediate, at a higher level even.

He's more of a gamble than most prospects for sure, but I'm a power whore so here we are.

I don't love Arenado either, was just yanking your chain since he must have gone off the day after you posted that, heh.

Arenado's been pretty good this year at least. SSS but he's been plenty relevant for me in the PL.

Cutting down his 2-strike approach and still K'ing at 25+% in Hi A doesn't bode well.

Completely writing off a hitter whose 100% better than average at a level appropriate age is not really good policy, even with the Ks. He obviously has a high bust rate but he's a legitimate fantasy prospect.

Meh, I'd still trade Fransucko for him, even though I don't believe he'll make it work in the end. I just wouldn't take him as the centrepiece in a deal for a mid-prime star. Obviously, the list of prospects with 50 HR upside is quite short.

*checks Tigres Mostaza roster*

Just as I suspected.

Do I like Gallo because I have him?

Or do have Gallo because I like him?

That said, I agree that he's not a centerpiece in a big deal at this point.

Either way, there's no way you'll make room to keep him, so you're better off talking him up and trading him.

At least a 50% chance he gets moved.

But if he goes to AA and does what Sano did there last year, there's at least a possibility that I'd squeeze him into my last spot.

Casual and unplanned update for those of you not in MPL: I once again have defeated North, and have yet to lose to him across MPL or the DDL over the past two years. Carry on as you were.

Also, have taken over first place in the MPL. Hoping I can keep this hot start up and land myself in the PL.
