Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Generally speaking, what hockey team do Toronto fans hate the most? Used to be the Sens, lately it was the Leafs (until Matthews). Now I'm going to say either Habs or maybe Bruins.
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Used to be the Sens, lately it was the Leafs (until Matthews). Now I'm going to say either Habs or maybe Bruins. Definitely Boston. Lots of recent ire. - Phil Kessel trade - Brad Marchand, generally - The 2013 game 7 comeback - 2018 game 7 loss

Can't think of another organization I want to watch burn to the ground quite like the Bruins. Lol
Frag Verified Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 The 2018/19 Ottawa Senators.................................. We're a team. The Sens trainwreck has been depressing to watch, and I'm a Leafs fan.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 The 2013 game 7 comeback This was actually a deeply traumatic event for me that my brain mostly suppressed. I haven't really been able to care about hockey since then until the Tavares signing.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 The Sens trainwreck has been depressing to watch, and I'm a Leafs fan. I have no trouble watching this train wreck.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 That must be how the Texas Ranger fan feels about us.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Raycroft for Rask Yet another repressed trauma. Thanks for reminding me.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Yet another repressed trauma. Thanks for reminding me. Fan the flames of this rivalry. I guess the reason that I didn't automatically think of the Bruins for most hated team by Leafs fans is that I don't find their fanbase as annoying, as a whole, as the Habs or Sens fans. Canucks fans are pretty f***ing awful too. Of course there are Bruins fans that are atrocious, but they're not as easy to find...at least in my experience. I give them some respect for that. But yes, if you're looking at our results against the Bruins, on and off the ice, it's not good.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 TIL... Sid can dig even deeper, into stupidity.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 (edited) Elias Pettersson looked great last night. Rasmus Dahlin looked great last night. Like sic good, he made Strome his bitch twice, lol. Soo slick. Edited September 20, 2018 by Spanky99
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Domi will be sitting at least a couple games. Ekblad clearly didn't want to engage but Domi dropped a glove and popped him a good one.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Domi is getting suspended for that. Yeah I'm thinking 3 -5 games. Nick Ritchie got a two game suspension a couple years back, for charging at Rozsival head on with fists of fury. I'd say this is more severe with Ekblad having clearly declined and turning away before getting clocked.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Domi gets suspended for the rest of the preseason. No regular season games. Wow. Lame.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Isn't punching guys in the face perfectly legal in hockey? Only if they've agreed to try and punch you back
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Only if they've agreed to try and punch you back I was under the impression that one could not consent to being assaulted, regardless
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I’d love to see hockey get to the point where punching someone in the head resulted in a lengthy suspension.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I was under the impression that one could not consent to being assaulted, regardless Well, I mean how do you explain MMA and Boxing then?

Frag Verified Member Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Hockey's such a joke with its punishments lol
