Adin Hill is about to be a cup-winning goalie. This should be the death knell for people thinking goalies matter.

The point is that he's a career backup. Any viable NHL goalie can get hot behind a good team at the right time. There's no reason to pay actual money for goaltending.

Panthers came so close to tying it. If they got that game into OT, could be looking at a 2-2 series now.

 

I think Vegas wins at home on Tuesday.

Best part of this is Mark Stone winning a cup. Dude is an animal. Probably finishes behind Marchessault for the Smythe though.

Meh... listening to coaches about player injuries after the finals is insane, hockey players are the toughest on the planet, it's not close.

Yeah disappointing to see both series done in 5 games.

 

In the NBA, only Game 2 and some parts of Game 5 were good. Rest were blowouts. Panthers played well in Game 3 and almost came back in Game 4 but the rest of the games sucked.

I'd be pretty surprised. He's probably looking for something in the 4/$20m range. Would not be a smart move for the Leafs to do anything like that.

A very late first and a second. Good return for the Avs, could be good for the Habs too if he takes it up a notch.
