Its crazy how much the Av's are better than the Kraken. They basically have been on a power play this entire period lol

I would have to think Golden Knights playing the Kraken has to be the NHL's dream matchup right now

Wow well if earlier wasn't the biggest upset in NHL History. This certainly is.

Do the Habs own a conditional pick from Toronto or something? Also shouldn't you be trolling Bruins forum's right about now?

They got Florida's pick.

Been a Bruins Fan since 1971 when I was old enough to remember listening to them on Bucyk, Orr, Cashman, Hodge and Espo on the "AM Radio".

Lost Gm 7 to St Louis for the Cup, and then this. I hate the Presidents f***ing Trophy. The thing is a curse. After Gm 4 we just couldn't get out of our own way and had that inevitable stink of death about us. I always had this dark feeling we would be "the ones" to blow it early after a historic regular season.

Glass half full we beat the Canucks in 2011 Game 7 so I can still die a fulfilled man.

You got a taste of what it's like being a Leafs fan (if you subtract and cups over the past 50+ years) and multiply that my numerous first round failures over the past 19.

The thing with the Bruins this season is... they were never as good as their record.

It never made sense that they kept winning. Sure they were good but they must have been the luckiest team in recent history. It's just a normal, solid roster with one star forward and a collection of really solid two way guys. They weren't obviously better than many of the other good teams.

Given the ages of some of the core players I did not really expect them to win the cup.

They still choked horrendously though. Marchand break away to win the series two games ago, doesn't score. Winning with a minute left in game 7, get scored on.

They were much greater than the sum of their parts. I've been looking at that team all season as very beatable and was hoping the Leafs would be the ones to do it.

Their +/- on goals was + 128. The next highest in the NHL was 67.

Not sure they were lucky. This was however an epic choke any way you slice it.

Marchand misses that chance to win series.

Ullmark hands the puck to them in OT to bury.

Both top notch goalies become semi sieves.

Defensive breakdowns.

Cant hold lead to win series with a minute left.

Leaves fans are definitely in No position to troll Bruins fans. Lets face it if they advanced you would be shiting your pants right now.

Even so taking the Panthers lightly would be quite foolish. There’s some very good players right now and they have multiple guys on career runs.

I wanted the Bruins. I'm a very vengeful person and wanted to slay those f***ers.

That said, Paul Maurice was Head Coach of Carolina when they beat the Leafs in 2002. I'm still sore about that s*** group winning and revenge is a dish best served cold....even if it is against just the coach.

Darryl Sutter was fired today. This was well earned as I can't recall a more disappointing Flames season in all my years of fandom.

It is indeed great news. I'm not a Flames fan myself but pretty much everyone in my circle of friends is so at least they'll be happy. Sutter's time is past, just like all those other old hard nosed yell at players and just bludgeon them with "do it my way or else" kind of coaches.

While somewhat amusing in his media conferences for being a curmudgeon or ass, giving him a 3 year deal was bizarre. He has his rings and millions. His time has passed in todays game. The players hated him mostly and wanted to leave in droves.

Yeah Boston needed to win at home in Game 5. They lost in OT and since that game, Florida had the momentum.

I wouldn't have put money on Boston winning the Cup, despite their record season.

If Boston and the Avs both get snuffed tonight, the Leafs might actually have a chance this year.

Yeah Leafs are favourites now in Vegas at 4 to 1.

Actually love their chances now. A team like Boston, which is big and physical, would have given them a tough time in R2. Panthers are fast kind of like the Leafs, so should be a good matchup, but Leafs should win the series. Rangers/Devils/Hurricanes in R3 doesn't scare me at all.

I bet $3 on the Kraken to win the Stanley Cup yesterday before the Avs game. Paid 28 to 1 lmao.
