I like that pick a lot more than Tkachuk. Hayton is a high IQ kid and I think his skill is underrated.

You think they would be able to trade down for someone wanting Zadina and gain another asset.

From the sounds of it, MTL was trying hard to move down from 3 because they figured their guy would be available a bit lower, but they ended up just taking him. It's possible that neither team got a strong enough offer to justify moving down and possibly missing on their guy.

Like the Sandin pick. Veleno might have been the better option, but Sandin's numbers are promising!

Leafs get the guy they were linked to as well as another 3rd. Seems like a good trade.

Islanders and Red Wings had incredible drafts. Can't believe Filip Zadina got to 6. That should not have happened.

Was annoyed the Rangers didn't take Wahlstrom at 9. And ends up going to the Islanders along with my second choice Dobson. They got both absolutely pissed me off.

Really surprised Oshawa General Serron Noel didn't get drafted in the first round. Was hoping the Rangers would take him with one of our late first rounders. He will probably be one of the first names drafted tomorrow in the second round. Hes still only 17 as well.

I really like the pick. I don’t know much about hockey but it seems like smart, undersized puck moving D may be the wave of the future instead of the slow big bodies of the past.

I’ve always wanted to see a team at some level scrap the traditional 3 forward, 2 D lineup and just go with 5 highly skilled, quick, dynamic players and try to dominate possession.

Sandin isn't really quick or dynamic though. He's very headsy, moves the puck very well. The knock on him that kept him a tier below the other smaller D like Boqvist, Smith etc was that he doesn't share their high end skating ability. That can be worked on though, I don't dislike the pick.

Yeah the latter part of my post was more of a semi-related hypothetical...

The combo of a high IQ, excellent passing D man is very intriguing. I could see how a lack of elite skating could be an insurmountable hurdle for a smaller D-man, but on the other hand it allows us to pick a player at 29 who has the other tools to be a very valuable player. I’m very pleased.

Lmfao just why would you not wear panties in this situation?

She's clearly from the Baltics. They have a different view on nudity. She is not ashamed at all.
