fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Aaron Hicks with a beautiful homer-robbing leap out in center field in Milwaukee to rob Carlos Gomez! Even Gomez was impressed and tipped his helmet to Hicks haha http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=27533437&topic_id=11493214
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Judging from the amount of highlights he's putting up, Aaron Hicks is probably the best -0.9 WAR player in history.

Even Gomez was impressed and tipped his helmet to Hicks haha http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=27533437&topic_id=11493214 That was a pretty incredible grab. Hicks actually mis-timed it by a half-second or so. He had to keep himself suspended over top of the wall for a moment. Extra points for that.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 That's the third time I've seen Hicks rob a home run this year. Too bad he can do everything but hit.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Hey look, the Rays actually did something about the Josh Sale thing, they've suspended him indefinitely. http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/rays-suspend-josh-sale-send-him-home/ Good riddance idiot

digiblader Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Mets making David Phelps look like Sean Nolin tonight--Phelps is already out after 0.1 IP, after giving up 5 runs in the first inning. With Boston coming up, this is the last thing the Yankees need--a short outing from a starter, especially with 3 straight losses already. Remember, Boston is RED HOT--it's no surprise that team is in first place.
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Lol I saw the 5-0 score in the Mets-Yankees game so I immediately came over to check this thread, and sure enough, there's a raysjays post.

Is there? Oh, the joys of the IL coupled with the Chrome Extension, Stylish - I no longer have to see his dumbassery, nor do I even see the "you're ignoring this user" text. It's really quite great, if I do say so myself.

I can't think of any reasons other than that you've done it wrong, but I get the feeling you have a grasp of what you're doing, so... honestly, I couldn't tell you. Let me see if I can help though... Are you using Chrome or Firefox?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I still cannot figure out why the f*** this doesn't work for me. What other extensions / etc are you using? I wonder if one of them is messing with it.

Let me see if I can help though... Are you using Chrome or Firefox? Chrome. I did everything correctly and I'm fairly comfortable with my skills in regards to technology. I'm my high school's fix-it guy lol. What other extensions / etc are you using? I wonder if one of them is messing with it. This.. could be it. I had... AdBlock AddThis Mediahint (maybe) Tab Carousel Tapatalk Notifier (maybe) By maybe, I mean I'm not sure if they were installed last time I tried this.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 Here's a screenshot of what it should look like: http://snag.gy/LZsfB.jpg Mine looks exactly like that, yeah.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 Is there already a chrome extension for this board? No, it just helps make the ignore poster thing more tolerable.
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Wow the Indians look like a John Farrell-run team with their laughable baserunning mistakes. First Nick Swisher fails to score from second on a Jason Giambi double, getting thrown out at home, and then Giambi for some reason tries to steal third, and is of course thrown out easily.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Is there already a chrome extension for this board? No, not in the sense that you're probably hoping. I'm assuming you're referencing the extension for the old boards that would auto-load new pages/posts as you scrolled down, yeah?

I have AdBlock and Mediahint, so you can likely rule out those two.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Chris Davis with his 18th bomb. wOBA up to .486. On pace for 56 HR. I couldn't even get a nibble on this guy in MPL after that crazy start he had to the season - and believe me, I was TRYING to sell. Now, I've had a couple inquiries recently, but I just couldn't bring myself to trade this guy unless I was offered something I just couldn't refuse.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 I have AdBlock and Mediahint, so you can rule out those two. So it's either AddThis, TabCarousel, or Tapatlak Notifier.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Ryan Zimmerman is 3/3 so far tonight with 3 HRs, and it's only the 5th inning.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I hear he's pretty good. He's raised his ISO by 60+ points so far today, slashline up to .300/.385/.493. Pretty decent little hitter.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 A. Sanchez is a stud. Only FA other than Melky I would have loved. Many said it all off-season. Instead we invested a good portion to MB:(
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Giambi atones for his earlier mistake with a three-run homer...Indians take a 5-1 lead.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I was saying it as early as 2011, love Sanchez. Peavy would've been amazing too, at least AA came close there. Yeah, I've been a fan of AS for a bit too. He was money all down the stretch last year in the AL. Major injuries out of way early on in career. Not TOO crazy deal. Was sexy FA
