I get what's happening here. You're trying to sidetrack the thread so it devolves into fighting and gets deleted. No need to insult me. -
How is it a no-lose? Do you realize how annoying that is to hear as a die hard Jays fan who wants them replaced? I've personally wanted management change since the 2022 off season, and trust me, there's been no "winning" for me. The past 2 seasons have been brutal to slog through and this one would be even worse if ownership didn't bail out Shatkins by letting them jack the payroll to the moon. I hardly feel that this season is "no-lose" for fans like me. On the contrary, it's extremely frustrating. But hey I can do the same spin that you did and say it's a no-lose for the fans of the front office who won't admit they were wrong. If they win, they get to gloat. If the team loses and Atkins gets fired they don't have to pretend to like him anymore. It really is win-win for the Atkins fans

I agree that's how it usually operates, but this isn't a usual situation, or these guys would have fired a long time ago. If the team doesn't win, I think there's going to be an insane amount of fan backlash this year. Every poll I see where fans have a chance to voice their displeasure it's over 90% want Atkins fired, and that's with thousands of respondents. There's a link to a bunch of polls near the end of the petition. This forum is the only place I've seen that seems to buck the trend.

Like I said in the original post, if you don't agree don't sign it. You spend way to much time worrying about what I post. If you have a problem with me send me a private message. No one wants to see us bicker back and forth.

If it gets enough signatures and gets publicity, maybe something happens. Read the petition. There are plenty of links to fan polls showing 90%+ of fans want them fired. You guys live in a bubble here.

Many of us disagree, and don't feel that this regime is capable of doing anything but drive up payroll. Next year we're screwed.

But to those who want to see Atkins and Shapiro gone, it only takes 10 seconds of your time. Let's help give this thing a bit of a boost and maybe it really picks up steam?

We'll the basis of your argument is a vague quote "tonne of money" by a guy who has had to walk back statements about how much he thought Vlad would get. You're using that quote to argue the Jays offered him a fair amount and now are placing blame on Vlad. Maybe try taking off the Shatkins blinders, you might like it.
