    Longley misrepresented what was actually said by Schneider. This is the full quote from Schneider where Tiedemann was mentioned along with many other names. Longley basically only mentioned Tiedemann to write a clickbait hype article making it appear like it's him who's going to break camp.

    I'm just waiting for the "Clement should be primary 3B over IKF" narrative to really pick up steam. It's been slowly building but nothing major yet.

    AAV is being dodged. Ohtani's AAV is 46M on a 700/10 contract. JDM's AAV is 9M on a 1 year 12.M deal. It allows teams like the Dodgers and Mets whose owners allow endless money to be spent to spend even more because they're keeping the tax bill lower. I get what you're both saying though. We wouldn't have a problem with this deferrals thing if the Jays spent money like the Dodgers or Cohen Mets.

    Manoah I think could be a real phantom 60 day possibility. Zulu I doubt, because they could have done it last season in August too, but chose not to.

    Sherm was actually first to point this out (on this board at least). Gotta give credit where it's due, the logic just made sense. I put Parsons on the roster instead of Pop because I think they might carry some extra length with Gausman and Mayza also being slow to build up, but so far it seems neither of them will need IL.

    Biggio is the backup RF against RHP. People around the team have been saying Clement can cover the "LF against LHP starters" role, but I'll believe it when I see it. I'm still half expecting Clement to get snubbed (traded) so they can keep Espinal.

    I think it's situational too. Like let's say 2 righties like Romano and Swanson couldn't start the season, you see Pearson and Pop up at the same time. But if someone like Mayza or Cabrera gets hurt apparently the org really likes Little as next man up there. Also is there ever too much pitching depth? And if so, when do you know you have too much? Yeah I'm sure guys like Zulu and Macko are also on the immediate call up radar.

    First of all Sherm, you are even more thin skinned than I thought if you actually see this as an attack. Second of all, "Pop and Danner only have 1 option left, I guess one of them? Unless the org thinks Zulu or Little aren't worth keeping" still displays a significant lack of doubt to me, so you're getting zero apologies.
