    Let me exercise my special power of stating the obvious. If Varsho stops chasing balls above the zone and swings at strikes in the middle of the zone he will become a very good baseball player. Based on his current swing decisions, he might think he is taller than he actually is.

    In another alternate universe, the Blue Jays draft Carroll instead of Manoah. if I remember correctly, they were actually strongly considering him for their pick.

    Don't worry. Atkins will trade our other Noda (Horwitz) for a relief pitcher. Meanwhile, MA HOASE Vladdy and his soon to be negative WAR will continue to kill us.

    Seriously.. I like Varsho.. but does he not realize how often he chases balls above the zone? Is he incapable of learning?

    Cimber needs to be released. He is useless.

    Extrapolating his total production so far results in 1 - 1.2 WAR for the season. WHAT A STUD! He is actually trending down as he has negative WAR since the start of May. I predict less than 1 WAR for the year.

    A good org would bench Vlad at this point. He has been below replacement since the start of May and continues to repeat the same mistakes. I am sure the Rays would not put him in their lineup based on his current production.

    Danny Jansen has more WAR now than Vladdy in half the playing time.

    Danny Jansen gave the front office every opportunity to extend him for peanuts and they squandered it. Now he will demand 10 year 200M contact at the end of the season.

    This makes no sense. Why would Manoah be laughing? He has been one of the worst SP in the entire league. Schneider being and idiot or Cimber being terrible would not change anything for Manoah.
