    I’ve only heard people talking about this in passing but isn’t this a ‘cliff’ stat? Like once, you go over a line it REALLY affects your babip but it doesn’t necessarily work incrementally (is that the right word?) up unto that point. I’ve always heard 50% as a line where it’s just always too far.

    If we took Corbin as part of a Soto deal could we just not pay him when in Toronto if he refused to get vaccinated. We’d save half his salary for the remainder.

    McCarty was 333 overall on one random Twitter ranking guy I follow’s list. I guess he’s a real dude. I’m surprised he had enough leverage to get 120k there. I’m also always surprised that mlb teams would nickel and dime guys out of that extra 5k too though. Or at least, I’m surprised that if he is good, that a few teams wouldn’t have all offered him 125 and he picked. 120 seems like a weird number.

    They casually brought up the entire story of where they met and how the romance started during the broadcast. If it’s public knowledge that he hit her when she was pregnant (which it is) I wouldn’t bring up any story about them during the broadcast at all. Stay silent about it entirely. Even better don’t hire the dude but at the very least don’t tell us the origins of their romance lol. Like, on a much smaller scale, I wouldn’t have them run down Pete walker’s five favorite cocktails either.     He admitted to striking his 19 year old pregnant wife in the face. That was real. The police were called to his house a year later for a domestic dispute a year later as well. I think it’s way more likely that the guy who hit his pregnant wife also hit his kids, than his kid is making this up. I agree that Bo hasn’t done anything.

    At least one of the assaults on his wife is verified real. He admitted it. The other one seems a little more vague. Cops were called to a domestic dispute. I didn’t dig any deeper.

    s***, I googled the two incidents where he said he hit his mom (and it got out) and yea it’s real or at least the first one he admitted to. It’s insane that that never came up once at all. Like when they were playing in Boston last year, they mentioned how Dante met her there right? They never mentioned that he admitted hitting her in the face when she was pregnant and only 19. It’s a classic abuse trait to up the abuse when the woman is pregnant as well. Not sure why but it’s a known thing. What a scumbag.
