  1. I don't think I've ever been more excited about one of our pitchers. Put him on a flight to Vancouver tonight.
  2. Its really interesting aswell that before the well ran dry from about 2004 to 2017-2018 n terms of home grown position players there were actually quite a few very successfully home grown guys like Wells, Rios, Delgado, Green, Cruz Jr, Shannon Stewart. Those mid 2000 teams could have atleast had a couple of wild card runs if a couple of young position players broke through.
  3. Yosver Zulueta absolute filth tonight. 4 ip, 1 h, 1 bb, 7k. Topped out at 98.6! This kid could be special. Hope he moves quickly.
  4. So now that Espinal looks like a legit above average hitter when do he move up in the lineup. I think he would be a good leadoff hitter. Drop Bo to 4th and go Espy, Springer, Vlad top 3.
  5. Do you have reading skills?? I was talking about his ability to hit high velo fastballs not his overall hitting skill. It's been known since 2020 that he struggles against good velocity.
  6. We've known this for a couple years now. Thats nothing new. The league adjusted to him and he hasn't adjusted back.
  7. Right? I don't know what these guys are saying everything was weakly hit lmao
  8. Just to avoid arbitration. Could be really good for next year when he would have asked for like 18 million after he puts up a 5 war 2022.
  9. Good for the Dickman. Seemed like he was a good guy who would have liked to come back to the Jays based on his comments.
  10. He's very cheap. That moves the needle for franchises like Cleveland.
  11. I said in a another thread comping to the Olson trade gets you close to groshans, pearson, Kirk and hoglund. With hoglund gone maybe you put in orelvis instead and get another another small piece back?
  12. Springer cf Ramirez 2b Vlad 1b Teo rf Bo as Lourdes lf Chapman 3b Kirk dh Jansen c Imagine
  13. Easy candidate for best team since the 01 mariners.
  14. So ugh Kenny just tweeted that we are still interested in Jram to play 2b
  15. From a pure WAR sense I agree but his fit on the team is much better than grichuk.
  16. Really would have liked that supposed Bradley for grichuk swap that was rumored pre lockout
  17. Well Joc would get starter atbats vs rhp. And with conforto we would have to make room like I said. Probably would mean Gurriel to dh/1b or maybe a trade.
  18. A lefty who can come off the bench or dh aka Dickerson, Joc. Maybe somehow clear some room and get conforto. Maybe I'm placing too much importance on handedness balance.
  19. Feels like we still need to add one more nice bat.
  20. Would be extremely foolish to give up Tiedemann.
  21. Oakland has no leverage here, everyone knows they are desperate to shed $$$. Chapman coming off his worst offensive season should make the cost significantly less than Olson who got a pretty underwhelming return for a 6 win player.
  22. Smith, Robberse, Jimenez and maybe another down list guy. Thats my guess.
  23. Highly doubt the we gave up anyone the org is extremely high on
  24. The hype right now around this is unreal
  25. Right? I saw that too and was like wtf just stretch out your arm with long toss then. Obvious attempt to hide the fact they want vlad getting his reps in at third in case Freddy does decide to come here.
