  1. For Rodon, no. Rodon is nasty and would have given us a very dirty top 3 that could have gone head to head with anyone. Thor is arguably worse than Mitch White.
  2. Its either that or they view White as a legitimate long term rotation piece.
  3. Maybe you are right. Maybe I was just in love with Frassos ability as a pitcher and didnt want to see him moved.
  4. Public prospect rankings dont mean s***. Like comeon you seriously gonna reference f***ing Fangraphs values? The guys they have to do those lists see the players like a couple times a year... I 100% believe the Dodgers had Frasso as a top 5 or 6 prospect in our system.
  5. Difference here is Nick Frasso is a hell of a lot better prospect than Kendal Williams was. How much you wanna bet Frasso makes his debut for the Dodgers before next September?
  6. So basically we panicked and over payed for both of em?
  7. Front office must absolutely love White I guess This only makes sense if you see White as a long term fixture in the rotation.
  8. I know positional flexibility is all the rage for smart teams these days but holy f*** is this a underwhelming and sideways move when paired with the Mitch White deal. You give up Castillo who is basically a less established White for a 33 yo below average hitting speed/defense outfielder/2b. Oh and you had the privilege of giving up Frasso to make this all happen when he happens to have maybe the best or 2nd best stuff in the system. Perplexing combination of moves to say the least.
  9. Frasso is not a few years away lol with his stuff he could have easily made an impact in the bullpen this year, or 2nd half of next year as a starter. He was going to move very quickly.
  10. Let Thor go and go get Rodon Atkins!!!
  11. lmao all three sliders were like the exact same pitch
  12. At least he got to go to the beach party couple nights ago
  13. Looks pretty good to me, but only real thing Id worry about is Berrios having one of his dog s*** starts and burying us in a game we need to win so would like to see us replace Thor with someone quality like Rodon or Cobb ect.
  14. Imagine if we turn Pop into another Romano and have two kids from the GTA shutting down games at the back end of the bullpen. Would be a dream come true marketing wise
  15. And a very cheap option for next year.
  16. Groshans stock was dropping fast, feels like another Austin Martin/SWR situation where we moved a prospect before his value completely craters.
  17. So new BP hierarchy: Romano CL Bass SU1 Garcia SU2 Mayza MR1 Cimber MR2 Phelps MR3 Pop MR4 7 miles of dogshit after this, am I forgetting anyone?
  18. No pleasing you f***ers huh lol Bass becomes at worst our 3rd best reliever potentially even our best and Pop is a controllable reliever who throws gas and if we can get him to ditch the sinker and become a 4 seam guy he could takeoff and become a elite reliever.
  19. Cobb/Happ/Robertson would be a pretty excellent deadline huh
  20. Yes i agree but still bet the Jays didnt predict that he would gain >5mph AND see both his changeup and slider become plus pitches, atleast not this quickly. And of course there is still the risk that the training never really worked with Tiedemann and his stuff stays the same or gets worse. Barrierra just comes pre packaged with better stuff from day one.
  21. Hmm I dont see it. Tiedemann was 90-93 with a solid change and not much of a slider, thats pretty s***** compared to Barrierra who is already 94-97 with a 2 solid secondaries. By all accounts Tiedemann really took off once he got to the pitching lab in Dunedn.
  22. Barrierra when he got drafted is a much better prospect than Tiedemann was when he got drafted. Tiedemann was a very raw kid who no real advanced training methods who saw big and immediate gains when he started training with the Jays advanced pitching lab.
  23. Cause they all SUCKKKKKKKK
