  1. Signing a guy like Teo would be perfect where he could split his time at DH and the OF. Was always a massive KK fan so happy to see him back. Maybe Varsho gets moved for another immediate need but that seems shortsided since KK doesn't have much left in the tank.
  2. Report: Kiermaier, Blue Jays agree to 1-year, $10.5M deal https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/2804283 Discuss
  3. So how do you guys feel about KK coming back now? Loll
  4. I'm perfectly fine with getting his offensive production from the number 9 spot because he provides other elite attributes (defense and base running). I have an issue with giving up what we did to get Varsho to produce similar results. So if we can take him and move him for another position of need at 3B then that'd be my preference. All depends on what type of offers we can get here.
  5. We can always sign Bellinger and KK and then go trade Varsho for a 3B. I'd just really hate losing KK, he was one of my favourite Jays in such a depressing season.
  6. There is no way anyone should be upset at getting Bellinger for 8/160. We all know that's not gonna happen. My guess all along is that he gets 7/175 or 9/200.
  7. There we go... now I feel like the holidays include me and that's all that matters here
  8. Report: Mariners, Garver agree to 2-year, $24M deal https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/2803630
  9. Sign KK and trade Varsho for a top prospect and an allstar. We should be able to get that for Varsho since that's what we gave up right
  10. Ya you only take that approach if you got something else lined up. We don't owe Bellinger s*** so I assume we're trying other ways to improve if he wants to sit on our offer. If we find something better, only then we pull the offer from the table.
  11. I think so too... don't see any team wanting him more than us. Just preparing myself for the pricetag shock lol.
  12. Think we should start taking bets on who we think will be the first major acquisition for the Jays. My ass is getting so bored here lol.
  13. He wouldn't sign with a team to be a 4th OFer after the season he just had.
  14. You gotta give them credit... they check in on everyone and wait for the first bargain. Love the approach. Getting him would make Varsho the 4th OFer. *runs away from all the Varsho stans
  15. Ya the smart longterm play would be to hand out 1/2 year deals but Atkins ass is on the line and they're trying to build hype around a fully renovated ballpark. They will definitely make "splashy" moves. Now we all hope the moves aren't ones that f*** us longterm.
  16. Gotta be joking right? Haven't heard a local radio breaking anything in 30 years loll
  17. Honestly who the f*** cares what the Dodgers do. They're in the NL West and the only way it'll hurt us is if we make it all the way to the World Series. It's much better than seeing the Yankees get everyone.
  18. It was more of a joke. These f***ers just don't stop spending lol
  19. Nba's soft cap seems like the best approach. Teams can spend whatever but they get penalized heavily for doing it. Mlbs system is a joke.
  20. Because they'll be paying 68M per year to a guy not on the active roster?
  21. Dodgers will be f***ed in 10 years once Ohtani retires and his payments kick in. Can't wait lol.
  22. Crazy amount of money for someone who hasn't pitched a single day in the majors. Does this make him the highest paid pitcher in the majors?
  23. No to 8/200 but yes to 6/150 for Bellinger. For that reason, I expect him to sign for 7/175. If he's really stuck on 200 then it'll be for 9 years to bring down the AAV.
  24. Love it. I'm waiting for the day that any pitcher entering the game is given no warm up pitches. That's what those pitches in the bullpen should be for. There are so many rules in baseball meant to slow the game down that can be removed.
  25. You honestly went into detail that will just go over his head but you definitely nailed it.
