    Ya I always noticed sliding problem but I'd assume it's something the Jays would try to work on with him. We don't really have much of the basestealing dynamic on this team otherwise and God knows we can use more contribution from him offensively in any way he can. He's blessed with great speed and is a smart base runner, he should be able to translate that into 30+ base steals, especially with the bigger bases now.

    I wonder why Varsho isn't a better base stealer considering his speed and instincts out there.

    Soto and Judge are gonna give us nightmares the whole season man. Really hope it's just a 1 year thing and Soto leaves them in the offseason lol.

    Because other teams have less incentive to give away a comp pick for 1 year of Chappy. It's not like they're getting Soto or something here. And if IFK is competition to him then he doesn't deserve the big contract he's seeking anyways.

    Especially with both players attached to compensatory picks, it just doesn't make sense for teams to offer these guys a super short term deal either. Boras may have screwed his clients here but let's see.

    Still can't believe Chapman is holding out for a massive payday when he was utterly s*** at the plate for 75% of the season. At least Bellinger put up good numbers lol.

    Ya but that's the thing... if we were working on a tight budget, IFK really isn't the guy I'd spend some of that money on considering it took 2 years to lock him up.

    Man, if he signed Bellinger to a reasonable contract, it immediately shuts every Jays fan up (including me).
