It's the problem with stat nerds who base all their decisions based on past numbers rather than trying to watch how guy is currently. Like what the hell did he do THIS SEASON to earn a start right away? Man was waived for a reason and u put him out there right away? Rather use the DH spot for someone actually important on our team for have a day off their legs.

Who starts a guy who was waived when you have a 200M payroll? He has not earned anything for this. You have Varsho who should be DHing on his day off from the field.

How did this scrub earn a start right away? How about watching him in batting practice than just throwing him out there based on past numbers. Management knows that things don't always carry over from year to year right?
