    Don't even have to do that since u already know. Also our best window to win was before the Bo and Vlad extensions. I promise you that if this takes any step back this upcoming season, Atkins will be gone and maybe even Shapiro depending on how it goes. But before we keep going there, let's see how the offseason unfolds. Hopefully some solid moves are made to improve this team's offseason dramatically. In the end we both want the same thing and that's for the Jays to just win and look like an actual playoff threat. Sadly the only year we looked like a real playoff threat was the year we didn't make it lol.

    I'd tweak the lineup but sign me the hell up for this. The other alternatives are giving bad contracts to free agents or standing pat so I don't see anything close to being better than this.

    Totally agree with you but let's be real, Shatkins are fighting for their jobs. If we take any step back while still having a poo poo farm system, this will be their last year here (especially Atkins). As a result of that desperation, I totally expect to see one or two contracts that fans will hate longterm.

    Crazy how we're going from an offseason where we could have gotten Ohtani/Yamamoto to us getting Bellinger is the most impactful move potentially lol.

    Honestly it's still not lol. His track record is all over the place so his contract should reflect that. We paid 150M for Springer who had an actual proven track record even though he hasn't lived up to that. I can still rest knowing it was a smart move.

    I never said we need to overpay Bellinger so if he goes elsewhere for 200M+ then whatever. I'm not holding not getting Ohtani against Shatkins either. In the end, I will judge the offseason by who we get and on what contract. I was just listing the calibre of players we need. And sadly we might need to overpay financially because we don't have a good enough farm system to trade for every need. Let's see how things go...

    The only issue is that the obvious glaring holes on the team that don't get addressed in the offseason also don't get addressed at the trade deadline. Those same glaring issues have been the main reason we keep falling short whether it be the bullpen, defense, hitting, etc. No team will be perfect but you cant let your weakness be THAT bad.

    As I represent the general fanbase, I'll speak of their behalf to say that offseason would not be good. No one wants Martinez AND Brantley since either of them in the field is a disaster. Replace Brantley/Martinez with Bellinger (assuming a decent contract) and that'd be a good offseason.

    f***ing Rays keep doing Rays things. Also how the hell do the Dodgers keep a top farm system while trading away so much. They run the system that Shatkins pretend to lol.

    Bellinger is getting no less than Springers deal of 6/150. Since we won't be using him in CF because that'd make Varsho utterly useless, giving him anything more than that just doesn't make sense. Now don't get me wrong, I'd love him for around that deal but don't think we need to overpay for that. Signing Teo for like 4/70 would be better than overpaying Bellinger to play LF. Then bring back Chapman and sign the Solar/J.D.

    No one's friggin rebuilding when they've poured 500M or whatever into the new stadium. They need that stadium filled to capacity for several years to make all this worth it. Even if there weren't any renovations, I've been critical of this team more than most but there is no way this team should be rebuilding until they start missing the playoffs with a healthy squad. It's not easy to build teams to the point we're at now so we can tear it all down when we actually start to suck...

    Would Cody welcome playing LF since there's no chance he'd play CF over Varsho? He'd be a great addition but that contract scares me. He should be getting close to what we paid for Springer. Wishful thinking, I know lol. RF Springer SS Bo LF Bellinger 1B Vlad DH Solar C Kirk/Jansen CF Varsho 3B Chapman 2B Biggio/Schneider If we can make this lineup happen, we are remarkably better than last year with all holes practically patched up.

    Even if they were complete pawns, it made the Dodgers pay 700M, which gives them less money to outbid teams on other players. I'm disappointed we didn't get him either but it is what it is. Now go find other ways to make your team better.

    Kind of hard to fault rogers when they've invested so damn much into the team on the field as well as off it. Need to start producing some damn playoff wins on it and that should be squarely on Shatkins, not Rogers. The fact we were even so close to getting Ohtani says enough about Ownership. Just need the baseball guys to do their damn job and put a complete team on the field. One year it's our bullpen, the next it's our defense then it's our hitting. Hoping 2024 is the year for a complete team...

    Yup but we do need to ensure we keep most of our elite defense. Losing Chapman and KK would definitely hurt that. Really curious how the offseason goes. Having a weak free agents market with a crappy farm system makes things harder.

    Still cant believe that the guy got 700M while currently being hurt for 50% of what he's being paid to do. Trust me, I wanted Ohtani but no player should be worth 700M at age 30. Now I just hope we are able to pivot to improve our team with very few trade assets and a crappy free agent market lol.

    Guys who need to post their workout videos shows you how infrequent they actually workout unless that's what they do for a living. People don't need to see your fat ass workout in videos... the results will be obvious by looking at them. It should be a lifestyle for most professional athletes, not an Instagram moment lol.

    There is no chance the Jays offered anything close to 700M. Dodgers had to come over the top to severely overpay so I wouldn't say anything like they had the "inside track." That would only make sense if they got him for the same price or cheaper than the offers out there. Dodgers got him simply because they gave him the best contract. Just my 2 cents.

    Realistically I see us getting Teo, Solar and Chapman. Wouldn't be a bad offseason if we pull this off. Still think we need 1 bullpen arm that's better than Romano.

    Always say no to fatties... if they can't take care of their bodies in their 20s then they're f***ed in their 30s. The least u should be able to do is take care of your bodies as a professional athlete. If you got motivational issues to do that then u got motivational issues in other facets too.
