    Whether it's the players or the strategy, it all falls under the same umbrella. I agree that it just seems weird how so many of our hitters just lost their power. Ultimately I would put it on the players themselves. Like if you're being taught something that isn't working in your best interest, go make the adjustments to be your best self. I am sure every player has that freedom, these aren't teenagers we're talking about here.

    Maybe you havent noticed this yet but the team was clearly built incorrectly. The reason "it was built this way" is the same reason why majority of the Blue Jays fans want Atkins outta here. Hope you're smart enough to follow along and arent living in your delusional bubble here...

    How many games can we say that we won this year mainly because of our offense? There is no way the answer could be more than 3 games, which is so sad considering we're in June.

    Hes also a very smart baserunner. I really like certain things about the guy and want him to succeed but the dude just doesn't swing the bat enough.

    The guy we signed to a minor league deal that most wanted waived after Spring Training is our Cleanup Hitter with a 200+ Million dollar payroll. If that isn't a complete negligent use of funds then I don't know what to say...

    Stop using it as an indicator to say that the current era was better than past era's then. Seems pretty obvious that highlighting playoff appearances isn't the best way measure success. Like I said, give me the 2015/2016 teams over this current era 10 times out of 10.

    How much winning would people even be talking about if we didn't have expanded playoffs? Seems pretty stupid to talk about all this winning when comparing to past era's where only 4 teams made the playoffs. Our best stretch of meaningful baseball since 92/93 was clearly 2015/2016 and its not even close. The only team that most people loved during the Shatkins era was 2021 and we didn't even make the playoffs that year.

    Funny thing is that Vlad was a gift from AA before he left and aside from Bo, which is very arguable these days, they haven't been able to develop a single position player better than him during their near decade long tenure. Shoot these clowns to the moon already.

    Imagine spending 300M on renovations and your attendance levels go down. Then they spent a bunch of the Florida complex "high performance" department only to have a bunch of fat f***s on the team. Shapiro suckered the s*** out of Rogers by not paying attention to what actually matters and that's the players on the field from the big club to the lowest levels of the minor league system. /rant

    Looks like the ballpark is just fine if your team can f***ing hit. Lol @ the pitchers park label. NHL and NBA are soon to be done, not gonna pretty with MLB being the only real sports entertainment available with this crap level of play.
