  1. He's been really solid and is a lefty, this is someone the Jays should definitely take a flyer on.
  2. It's trippy. Yet a lot of fans think Rogers is perpetually cheap. It is simply not the case.
  3. Holy crap. I thought you were joking, the I Googled it. Wow. What a wasted career. "A one million dollar arm and a ten cent head", signed Crash Davis.
  4. he's a tire fire, bats right, and hasn't played in the MLB a couple of years now, but I wonder if Yasiel Puig would be an interesting ST invite. I don't think he's been re-signed in the KBO. It wouldn't take much to bring him I bet.
  5. And maybe a decent left handed bat.
  6. I think Taillon relied on the sticky stuff a lot. We will see about him.
  7. My money is on Tiedemann or Pearson. I mean, c'mon. One of those guys has to become a big boy at some point.
  8. I 100% agree. On its own, this trade looks bad. But I think by April 1, 2022, it will totally make sense and be a solid move to allow for many other moves. I like this pitcher, puts up positive fWAR, and isn't a FA until 2026.
  9. John Olerud > Harold Baines
  10. Who cares.
  11. I agree 100%. Springer was just a walking bag of bandaids for weeks. Up by a ton, yeah, JBJ and Zimmer in. And none of this f***ing happens. But I also blame Mayza and Bass for looking like s***, too.
  12. Which game in 1987? I've been a diehard fan since 1984, and this is FOR SURE the worst loss in franchise history. Just the biggest choke, disgusting win ever. I am not even sad. Just really angry.
  13. In a pile, I would totally whale away on that POS.
  14. Anything less than earning the 1st WC spot is a disappointment, for me anyway. And the trade deadline was a bit of a joke. Right now the season, for me, is 5/10.
  15. I have never hated a player more than I hate Odor. Including Donnie Moore, who killed his family.
  16. Signed, Shea Hillebrand.
  17. Fangraphs has his FV at 35+ Not great.
  18. Bleacher Reports likes our trades: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10044115-biggest-winners-and-losers-of-the-2022-mlb-trade-deadline "Toronto Blue Jays Landing groundball machine Zach Pop (18 G, 3.60 ERA, 63.1 GB%) and veteran setup man Anthony Bass (45 G, 16 HLD, 1.41 ERA) in exchange for a diminishing asset in former top prospect Jordan Groshans was a nice under-the-radar move by the Blue Jays. The oft-injured Groshans is hitting a punchless .250/.348/.296 with one home run in 279 plate appearances at Triple-A this year, while the Blue Jays upgrade a bullpen that ranks 15th in the majors with a 3.89 ERA. They also added Whit Merrifield at the buzzer. While he's having a down year with an 81 OPS+ in 95 games, he can still be a key contributor for the stretch run."
  19. I'm down with the ban. We can all make dumb posts, but to initiate a really, really dumb thread? Gah.
  20. I have a strong feeling they pick up Robertson before the deadline. The Jays have to consider who hasn't had their COVID-19 vaccinations. If we had a list of players who haven't, we could scratch them off the list.
  21. I am actually shocked that the Red Sox didn't throw at anyone. I supposed that may be why some of the good players sat near the end.
  22. I think the MLB record is 7/7 by Andres Gallaraga.
  23. Big news, everyone. Shi Davidi just revealed that the FO may still make other moves this year, and that signing s*****, washed up Romo may not be their last move.
